I love this Cd so much. I bought it cause it had a good variety of the hardcore bands that i love. And i found a bunch of new bands that i like. If you are curious how hardcore sounds this is a good cd for a curious listener to get. I personaly love Suffocation by First BLood great song.
Release Date December 09, 2003
But if I could change some minor things, I would have gotten a better version of The Charles Atlas Song, which is just barely worth listening to. Although everything else is pure gold. And my current faves on this album are Time Warp (Groove Ghoulies), Touch-a Touch-a Touch Me (The Chubbies), and Planet, Schmanet Janet (Tsunami Bomb), and all the floor show songs.
Release Date October 07, 1997
So I'll make it brief. This is a hidden gem of the late 90's, and it contains the Holy Grail: Dead Man Walking. David Bowies acoustic version of a techno experiment is quite possibly the most chillingly beautiful song ever written by the Glam God of Rock and Roll. In addition "Do Ya" is awesome as is Edwyn Collin's "Girl Like You". Mostly every track is enjoyable.

FIRST OF ALL, THIS CD COMPLICATION HAS MORE THAN 40 SONGS ON IT. IT HAS 2 CDS AND A DVD FOR ONLY ABOUT $7 (WHAT I HAD TO PAY)! IF YOUR A FAN OF HARDCORE, PUNK, METAL OR STREET PUNK YOU WILL LOVE(?) THIS CD. THE ONLY REAL BAD THING ABOUT THIS IS THAT THEIR WEREN'T MANY BANDS THAT I KNEW BUT I GOT TO LIKE MOST OF THEM. ALL IN ALL IT WAS A GOOD CD.
Release Date May 19, 1998
Ten largely unknown punk bands, two songs a piece and a bonus uncredited version of "Walk Like An Egyptian" make up this compilation from 1998 by Hopeless Records. These tracks too often sound like they're coming from the same band of loud aggressive vocals and garage punk musicians but there are some distinct outstanding moments. Amsterdam's "Funeral Oration's" two contributions have some great hardcore pop hooks and sound like refreshed early "Smiths" singles minus Morrisey's efeminacy. "Against All Authority" adds a brass influence to its heavy guitars and drums creating an eerie punk marriage of ska and metal. Permanently etched on the back cover of the CD is the price quote in the tradition of indie/punk music. ... Read More:

Motorhead is one of the best Metal bands of all time. Hailing from a time when Metal was at it's most popular Motorhead bucked the trend and did things their own way.Check out Motorhead's classic performance of Ace of Spades on the BBC show Young Ones. The best song on the album is "Sweet Revenge" by Skarhead, another band everyone will be hearing alot about in the weeks to come.

This collection of songs and the artists that perform them are great! I purchased this for my dad who was praising a song he heard on XM Radio in the cafe music channel. He loves it!! Some rockabilly, some blues, punk interpretation! Some of the best of both worlds are involved with this cd!

is this cd 4 bucks? yes. does it have 'unreased' tracks from a7x? yes. does it have a a7x music video? yes. is is a good cd? no. hopeless has thrown out old bands from previous hd2y, and what did they gain? yellowcard clones, like amber pacific, melee, and stairwell. this definetly isnt a good thing. yeah its 4 bucks, but really the only thing worth it on this cd is the atom and his package song which is why a gave it 2 stars. but hey, some ppl disagree with me, and if you think its worth it to buy this for some wannabe pop bands, go right ahead.

A sleeper that demonstrates what happens when you take a bunch of out-of-the-mainstream bands and give them a good cause. In this case the cause is to support the suicide helpline, and the bands provide some of their best. Thrice's "Silhouette" sounds almost as good as Killswitch Engage's "End of Heartache" (although without Howard Jones' vox potenta), Shadows Fall unleashes a live version of its simultaneously psychotic and pensive "Thoughts Without Words." Contributions by Poison the Well, Silverstein, and Further Seems Forever add to the mayhem. Consider it aggressor ownership of the auditory senses.
Is it strange to have an assortment of thrash, speed, and core performing for suicide prevention charity? It should be noted that the Red Cross used ... Read More:
