It's quite amazing to find an album like this. Some of the best singers and musicians ever, give us a killing C.D. This tribute shows Alice Cooper's songs with particulary touches from great bands like Def Leppard, Twisted Sister, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue and so on. I certainly recommend it because this C.D is worth buying and listening to.

As with some other reviewers, I see inconsistency with this "Monsters" series of CD's. Personally, I like some of the softer songs on this disk and that's why I bought it (heat of the moment, died in your arms). I really like 'the warrior' as well, and I think most would categorize that one as a hard rock song. When you take a hard look at this series of "Monster" CD's you gotta wonder what "Monster" even refers to. Is it the sales volume? the hard rock sound? what? What makes something "monster" rock? It really seems that they just put their favorites on some CD's and labeled them "monster" because it sounds cool! The problem is that there is no real theme here, particularly with volume 2.

Was that Steve from Steel Assassin? Hey whats up buddy. You should not be too obvious, everyone knows it's you! actually, to be honest, the show is stolen by hades. everyone knows that. possessed, nasty savage, and dark angel make respectable shows. hallows eve, you should stick with lethal tendencies. the rest of the bands here, you didnt go much further than this album, but i love you. buy this album first of any of the metal massacre albums! see the rest of my reviews! they are all awesome!

Very good compliation with nice songs, but hey, where is the song Love Bites from Def Leppard???. These songs are worth their weigth in gold as they say. And it's true they bring back good and sad memories.

I really like the Dee Snider solo track on here, along with most other songs, with few exceptions. Inconclusion (Dee Snider solo track) is great, and is a really good intro to the disk (and the movie, too)...
Not so much with Crisis' version of "Captain Howdy" but I'm a TS fan, so I think the original would have been better. The rest of the tunes are well worth listening to if this is your type of movie. Pick it up if you can find it, and hopefully we'll get to see Strangeland 2 in our lifetimes!

This cd really has two group of songs. Songs that Metallica have covered, and songs from bands Metallica likes. The Master of Puppets cover is cool once, but not again. Loverman is worthless for metalheads. Tuesday's Gone doesn't fit in. The ones that really work here are the Motorhead songs, the Diamond Head songs, and the Mercyful Fate songs, (but where's Satan's Fall?). If you want a collection of classic thrash, buy the first one of these, only get this one if it is cheap. I got my copy for forty-five cents.
