I just want to say that this soundtrack is completely awesome and it is a perfect pair to the movie. The songs are so superb. There are songs that lead you to adventure, romance, and comedy. In my opinion, looking through your eyes sung by Leann Rimes and the duet sung by the Corrs and Bryan White are the best songs on the soundtrack! It is entirely romantic and it makes me cry whenever I hear it. The singing voice of Kayley and Garret are so sweet. i wish they would make a part 2 so there would be another soundtrack. The songs will also stay in your head, and sometimes you will find yourself sining it wothout even knowing it! =) This soundtrack deserves 6 stars, not 5. Once you listen to it, you can't stop!

Wow, I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed CW McCall. What a shame he didn't record a few more! "Black Bear Road" has got to be my favorite, next to "Silverton", or maybe "There won't be no country Music"! I'd forgotten about "Roses For Mama", if that don't touch your heart then friend you must not have one! Who could forget "Convoy"? Bill Fries, if you read this, thanks for the great music! Wish you would do another! or two...or three!

This is one of Zappa's true monsters, a great, ambitious album that is one of his masterworks. It's arguably the most complex album he ever did, especially in musical terms. Many of the themes on this album were revamped for orchestra years later (like on Zappa's last classical album, The Yellow Shark), which shows you the great complexity of this work. This album was actually a soundtrack for a film that took years for Frank to complete, but more on that later.
This album has many, many great Zappa tracks. Some of my particular favorites are Nine Types of Industrial Pollution, the main title theme, the "return" of Suzy Creamcheese, Dog Breath (a theme that would later be orchestrated), a funny, kazoo laden version of God Bless America, ... Read More:

Basically a filmed concert. Interrupted by a few sketches. The whole idea of Spinal Tap is to paraphrase the rock-industry. Gently dressed as irony and general retardedness. The film was good. The lyrics are still very good (don't we just love sublime rock poetry?) but we have seen it before and better. The sketches are still quite good but to have the songs performed, in all seriousness, somehow detracts the whole concept. I'm already a fan but this one won't win any new converts. Although I did get a good laugh at the "right reason" for having a reunion concert.

I was really disappointed with this CD (HBO show)- I was wanting to listen (and remember the great times with friends, weekly HBO, with a bottle of wine . or chosmo's) and the theme show song was well - - - not there! All in all the CD is "good" but ~ die hard "watchers" want the "real thing!" Perhaps a "remake!?"The movie CD (though) is great, love the first song! I would recomment this (and have bought several for friends!) to be enjoyed!

There's something scary about picking up an album after 30 years and remembering every detail, tone of voice, ethic accent and punchline. Such was the impact of Cheech and Chong on my adolescent mind that listening to them in middle age was as though I had pulled them off the turntable just yesterday. The duo's sense of anarchy and "stickin' it to the man" is still fresh and (sadly?) relevant in the era of the Iraq War as it was in the era of the Vietnam War. But though comic tastes have evolved in C&C's direction, their wackiness and sense of fun set them apart.
C&C's cast of characters is memorable. We have super-smarmy faux-hip DJs (ala Wink Dinkerson), unapologetic drunken pederasts and witless stoners (Trippin' in Court) and a battalion of GI shirkers (Vietnam). ... Read More:

Weird Al is the King of Parody. I haven't had a CD of his that hasn't made me laugh over and over again. Cannot say much to add to the bulk of this testimonial, but if you have enjoyed his work this is one of Weird Al's best CDs of contemporary music.

Not just a glimpse of genius, but a virtal smorgasbord! In this video, many twisted minds come together like baby snakes in the night, producing a sensory overload unequalled by any group of artists. You have the totally bizarre claymation freak-outage, the uninhibited backstage showing off, and the not-frequent-enough footage of Zappa squeezing every drop of musical talent from his band members in rehearsal. Then you have the irreplaceable concert footage- it's such a blast to watch Terry Bozzio clad in a devil's mask and underwear, banging away at the drums like a maniac. Zappa commands the stage but then drags in an assortment of audience members, a blow up doll, a talking toy cop car and even his road crew manager for comic measure, as if he needs to get more random. Oh yeah, ... Read More:
