Wow, I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed CW McCall. What a shame he didn't record a few more! "Black Bear Road" has got to be my favorite, next to "Silverton", or maybe "There won't be no country Music"! I'd forgotten about "Roses For Mama", if that don't touch your heart then friend you must not have one! Who could forget "Convoy"? Bill Fries, if you read this, thanks for the great music! Wish you would do another! or two...or three!

Rodney Carrington, is by the funniest comedian I have ever listened to. He uses stand up comedy mixed with a few comedy jingles to not only make his crowds laugh but to keep them entertained.
Other reviews point to the fact that his albulms have too much singing on them. I disagree. Rodney CAN sing, hell if he wanted he probably could be a top charting country music artist. Songs like "Dear Penis", "Gay Factor Worker" and "Show Them To Me" all have thousands of lip-sync'rs on YouTube.
Rodney has a wild outlook on life. I own all his albums and will continue to buy every single one that comes out.
For some new material and some good old favorites, I highly recommend the DVD here on Amazon "Live At The ... Read More:

Tip of the day. Don't bother to buy the CD entitled, "The Very Best Of Brother Dave," because this is as good as it gets. These two were Dave's first albums, originally released in 1959 and 1960. I first heard them in the mid 1960s and still laughed as hard as the first time hearing after Amazon shipped them to me.
Unless you are a ACLU lawyer, you'll find these two CDs hilarious! I opened the box and put in the first CD. As it was just starting, I thought, uh oh, I had a very good black friend who happened to be with me when I opened the cases and began playing the disc. I pushed the pause button and warned him and he said, "let's hear it!" OKAY. Like me, he laughed loud and hard. He asked why I had been apprehensive? He compared ... Read More:

Larry the Cable Guy's CD debut is what I believe to be his funniest, it being twice as funny as both his Christmas discs and "The Right to Bare Arms" disc. I would like to recommend that anyone that likes Larry the Cable Guy buy this. You don't have to have a Larry collection (I don't). If you are stuck deciding between this and any other Larry the Cable Guy CD's to buy, PICK AND BUY THIS!!!
Post-script: I didn't thoroughly review this album only because numerous other reviewers have offered a thorough breakdown of the tracks and the quality. I just wanted to say BUY THIS AND LAUGH!!!

I loved Bill Engvall when he first came out but I think he's lost his touch or maybe his humor is one that just gets old after a while. If you really like Engvall, you might like it. I didn't find myself laughing out loud very often. It's kind of boring, actually.

Don't get me wrong here. I love Kinky's music. But this CD is a disappointment, as most of the tracks on it are live cuts, not original studio cuts.
Kinky classics like "Get Your Biscuits In The Oven And Your Buns In The Bed," "We Reserve The Right To Refuse Service To You," "Homo Erectus," and (gasp!) "They Ain't Makin' Jews Like Jesus Anymore" are not present in their original versions, but rather inferior live cuts. This collection has other cuts from the Sold American and Kinky Friedman albums; why couldn't the above songs be included in their original versions?
Overall, this CD could have been great, but it's a disappointment.

I bought this album by accident because Amazon is deceptive. If you like Ron White, you already own this so stop reading this review and go listen to it. If you don't know who Ron White is then you need to not live under a rock. He drinks, smokes, cusses and shares his opinion... on everything... whether you like it or not.
