I was really disappointed in this CD. I've never heard Pinkard & Bowden live before, and I hope I never have to again! Their studio-produced songs are so witty I quess I expected the same of their live comedy. The only tracks worth listening to are the songs, only a few of which were not poor (...) attempts at dirty jokes. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this one! But if you enjoy this type of humor, I think Rodney Carrington is much better at it than these guys.

Jim Nesbitt was a South Carolina native who was born in Bishopville, SC and was living in Florence when he died on 3l November 2007. He would have been 76 years old the next day on December 31, 2007. He sings and plays my kind of country classic music and I have thoroughly enjoyed the two selections I ordered from you. The quality of the merchandise is excellent and your service is great.

When Ray came out with his first success back in 1961 (Jeremiah
Peabody's....etc.) who could have predicted that 41 years later
he would still score hits on the charts. The title of his come-
back CD "Osama-Yo' Mama" (2002)reminds us of that terrible day.
Besides the intro song, there's another patriotic ode called
"United We Stand". The rest of this CD is typical Ray Stevens'
type of doing things since 1961: a lot of fun and all kinds of
musical styles. The best song without any doubt is "Bon Temps
Roulette" a mixture of honky-tonk, rhythm & blues, rock & roll
with a cajun stomp touch! "Gone for Good" is hilarious with a
country pickin' rural background. Also nice are The Hustler, ... Read More:

I bought this primarily for the title song. The other were OK but not as good as the title song. I am satisfied with the CD though and would recommend it for anyone who wants an upbeat Christmas CD.

The first thing you need to know is that your music library needs to have at least two Roger Miller CDs in it. First, you need to have a hits collection of his work from the Sixties. The hits collection is required to have "King of the Road," "Dang Me," "You Can't Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd," "Do-Wacka-Do," and "England Swings." Almost all of the hits collections are solid on that score, as is this one. With 22 tracks this is an above average Roger Miller hits collection (I think the biggest one I have seen has 30 tracks) and it does have some very worthwhile tracks beyond the aforementioned short list of absolute necessities.
Obviously Roger Miller is remember for his humorous novelty songs, but he wrote some certified popular and country ... Read More:

Louis Marshall Jones was born on October 20, 1913 in Niagra, Kentucky, the youngest of 10 children. By age 16, and already proficient on guitar and banjo, he was performing on radio and quickly got his own show on WJW out of Akron. He also became a regular guest on the Lum and Abner radio show.
In 1935, still just 22 years old, he hooked up with a touring group led by The Kentucky Mountain Boy, Bradley Kincaid. Also renowned as "the man who first brought Kentucky mountain songs and ballads to radio" it was he who came up with the nickname Grandpa because, on their radio show out of WBZ in Boston, he came across like a crotchety old geezer. Not only did it stick, but Louis donned an old-man's get-up for personal appearances and changed his billing ... Read More:

For some reason, some producer thought it would be a good idea to take short clips of Foxworthy's best bits and repackage them out of context with an irritating music track as an underscore. You lose any sense of continuity, since you are hearing perhaps 45 seconds of a four-minute routine. This is not a "best-of" CD. Buy the full-show CDs.

The first songs I ever heard from Tim Wilson were "First Baptist Bar and Grill" and "Chucky Cheese Hell," and thought they were both hilarious, so I bought some of his CD's, and was turned off to find out that those were the ONLY two funny pieces he ever did. For the most part he's just an ignorant racist redneck. Most of his schtick seems to have been recorded back in the 1990's, during which time he seems to have been obsessed with the notion that Bill Clinton was a horrible, horrible, horrible president.
