I do like Lynard Skynard, and it was a greatest hits, so I bought it. The only thing is that the song "Black Betty" wasn't on that CD. Anything else is fair game.

This is truly a Guns N' Roses greatest hits collection. It perfectly sums up the band's entire career, with it's core members. There seems to be a problem with the tracks Geffen (record label) chose for this compilation. I noticed more than half the 1-2 star reviews rated so low simply because it didn't contain the tracks THEY wanted it to have. Keep in mind, this is a Greatest Hits package, not a Best Of.. meaning a collection of hits that were at one time released singles by the band launched to radio/MTV by the label. I couldn't agree more with this list, with the slight exception of a song that was a single but ommitted here.

I hate admitting this because I've been a Counting Crows fan since... well since "August...". But this CD is so bland I couldn't get into it at all.

I gave it chance after chance... listen after listen. None of the songs ever stuck in my head. I found the music to be old hat, but not in a classic, good way. And the lyrics were terribly weak. They've lost all feeling. One of the things that has always made CC a good band was that the lyrics were usually raw and filled with emotion. This CD sounds like they didn't put anything of themselves in it. Its almost as if they're just performing songs that other people wrote as parodies of counting crows songs.

The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour often is not mentioned due too the fact Sgt. Peppers came out that same year. On this album The Beatles are obviously becoming more experimental and using many more affects and trying too be more psychedelic. Well it worked on songs such as, "Flying", and "Blue Jay Way", are extremly psychedelic songs using lots of affects. This album was also the last of The Beatles making really acid rock albums and after 1967 The Beatles started too fall apart. The songs on here have all remained classics, "Hello Goodbye", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Penny Lane", and "All You Need Is Love". This album is for any of those who have a taste for psychedelic music buy today and is for any Beatles fan.

Well,once again Al Stewart has delivered a beautifully recorded and intelligent piece of work.Every album he has made are well recorded and proves that he is a master.

While mostly know for his song :Year of The Cat" Al has been turning out terrific albums since the early 70's.Why he is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame mystifies me.While I know that Al liked Year of The Cat i for one wish he never wrote the song.It has taken away from his true brillance and body of classics.

If you just listen to his lyrics,you will find a dedicated master of history and events that are stunning.His song writting ability is up there with the best our generation has prodduced.Al's use of intruments and poetry are brilliant yet not geared for a large market. ... Read More:
