Also heard it on NPR and discovered it. It's a brilliant album, cover-to-cover, one of the true ones you can listen to in order and just sit back and enjoy. It really has a theme and a progression.

Beautiful stuff.

I am about the biggest LZ fan there is but I goto tell you.If you like harsh,bright,and loud then by all means buy this.If you want to hear Led Zeppelin in a warm and natural way do yourself a favor and buy a turntable and the 200 Gram LP reissues from Classic records.After a few listens you will toss this in the trash.

"Highway To Hell" would be the album that put AC/DC on the map in the U.S., but would also be the last for lead singer Bon Scott who would die of alcohol poisoning shortly after the album's release. Scott always harnessed a playful nod and a wink sense of humor in his lyrics and vocals that would raise the level of the material up a few notches. You never got the feeling that he was taking himself too seriously. Musically in many ways AC/DC sticks to their patented formula, but on this album everything works very nicely. The title track became the band's first legit hit in the U.S. and remains one of the most famous classic rock guitar riffs to this day. This is a great 2 CD set of 38 David Bowie classics,almost all of the hits are here,with a few surprises thrown in for good measure!!! Awesome remastered sound and a nice booklet round out the package!!!Great job Virgin Records!!! Recommended!!!

A lot has been said about the Beatles, and it leaves little to add. I enjoyed this piece when I first bought it back in 1972, which was 5 years after it's initial release.
It blew me away then and it still does to this day. All ages will identify with this. Simply enjoyable to listen to.

Beware that the MP3 album for sale here is NOT the remastered version, even though it's linked to the remastered CD version on the amazon site. I discovered this after purchasing and listening to it. The audio is muddy and full of dropouts, and basically sounds like an old audio cassette. This is why it's only $8.
