I have to agree, although I didn't receive my copy on Blu-Ray yet, I saw this concert on HD-DVD several times and it is my favorite Concert DVD so far. I hope the sound on Blu-Ray is as good (or better) than it was on HD-DVD. A must have!

this is one of the greatest pop rock albums ever produced,and if you only had to buy one steely dan cd,this would be the one to grab.this has several of the steely dan classics on here,such as josie,decon blues,and peg.this is a true masterpiece,from one of the most talented bands to ever come down the pike.great cd.

This album is so good that not even Mick Jagger was happy with it. That's good enough for me, as I have come to the conclusion that Mick has poor taste in music. I've heard his solo albums, and they suck. This, however, is a masterpiece of eclectic blues boogie, and it sure as hell rocks. Pay no attention to the negative reviews you may have read about Exile, just buy the cd and get on with your life. Such creativity, such awesome power, such a display of guitar tectronics that you'll be bowled over before you can finish listening to it. It is, however, an album that takes time to get used to. While that may sound confusing, it just is what it is. Exile On Main Street is the definitive Rolling Stones album. It has it all.

I absolutely love 5 songs on the new album, and the rest I'd rate as good-average. I like the concept, the production, the sound and the musicanship. Lyrics are often very witty and funny. My 5 favorites are: The Poor House; She's Lookin' Better By The Minute; I'm Watchin' the Game; That Mountain; Propinquity. These are all excellent!! The Kids Are All Right cover is nice, too.

This album is one of Pink Floyd's best albums. It is not quite as good as DSOTM or WYWH or The wall...but it had a feeling to it that was very nice to me. However, it doesn't sound exactly like other Pink Floyd music. As one of my friends said, its like Pink Floyd's weirdness and normal rock mixed together. I got mad at him at first, but I think he was right. This is Pink Floyd as hard rockish/normal as possible. Enjoy it....the songs are great

This can be played on one side as a cd and the other as a dvd, but we just play it in our car and it has a hard time reading the cd. The music is excellent though.

How many indispensable recordings can one guy release in a spectacular career? Enough for something important to get lost in the shuffle? Well, not for fellow musicians and the knowledgeable fans who have apparently treasured Veedon Fleece as a pinnacle of caledonio soul. (I read somewhere that Sinead O'Connor listens to it before each of her performances.) But feeling satiated by Astral Weeks, Moondance, St. Dominic's, Too Late to Stop, Into the Music, etc., somehow I apparently didn't give the original Veedon lp near the attention it deserved.

Fortunate really, cause with all the remastering being done these days it's actually a relief to be able to acquire a cd that I haven't long ago purchased before the sonic clarity and bonus tracks. ... Read More:

Can't Love, Can't Hurt

By no means does Can't Love, Can't Hurt capture the wonderful singularity of All The Stars and Boulevards, but it makes a valiant effort. there is nothing wrong with this CD but... there are no hits on it like "Boston" or "Stars and Boulevards" or "Mayfield" that stand out from the rest of the entirely too short CD. Get if you're an Augustana fan.

As another reviewer pointed out: where are the songs from his other albums? Some of my favorite songs are on those albums.

I suppose one would have to be near Grinch-like to put on a tour and not play Floyd tunes when faced with a sea of wide-eyed Floyd fans.

To bypass the whole Tour setlist catering process, he should just do a 'David Gilmour Live in his back yard' ala PF at Pompei.

This is a good collection of his music, if your a Cat Stevens fan, His earlier music is the best.His voice has lots of depth, If you like folk music you'll like this.
