We've taken the kids to see the lion king broadway musical twice and this CD has all of the songs from the musical exactly as they are in the show. The kids love to listen to it--and so do I! The music is absolutely beautiful.

This is hands down one of the best albums i have heard in my life. To me, it is unfathomable that anyone wouldnt like this one. It has everything you could possibly ask for in an album, and everything is drilled down to perfection. I waited a long time for this re release and it is nothing short of spectacular. If you like alt rock or psychedelic rock or just music in general, and hate the stuff they play on the radio, then this one is for you. Highlights include Russia On Ice and Last Chance to Evacuate Planet Earth Before It Is Recycled. Check it out. It has been unavailable for a long time and now its back, so pick up a copy while you can.

this is a great album for what it is and it is a career spanning compilation and as such is meant to include the finest tracks and is meant to give a sampler of an artist work which it does exceptionally well. no it doesn't have all his best tracks and yes everybody has their little probelems,but for those uniniated or just starting out with a minimal springsteen collection its a great starter i guarantee you'll come back too time and again. its just plain great music

This is a good collection of the bands biggest hits, but I simply LOVE the mellow, moody atmosphere and guitar playing on the very first Dire Straits album. I recommend you buy THAT album before this one. You'll thank me, I guarantee it!! Talk about an album you'll want to play on a hot summer night! I truly believe if you like the song "Sultans of Swing" you will love the rest of the songs on the debut. The rest of the album maintains the same kind of vibe. The high quality of the songwriting mixed with a great rhythm section is another highlight. Just... awesome! Skip this Very Best Of collection.

When I was three years old, my family lived in Kentucky, and times were a little rough. My mother was training to be a guidance counsler. My dad was shifting between janitor at a local high school and earning his Ph. D. at Siminary. I saw my dad all day, and my mom all night. Every day before he left for work he would play Crash Into Me for me. "I'm the king of the castle" was the favorite(and only) line I knew. The rest didn't matter. This is one of the best albums I have ever heard, and if I am ever shipwrecked on a desert island this is the only thing I could ever ask for.

This album is a good van halen album and has all of there best songs on here but there isnt enough david lee roth stuff on this so buy this and van halen the first album its self titled. Some cool songs on here are, runnin with the devil, unchained, poundcake etc.
