I'm a bit of a completist, but I don't buy "best ofs" or "greatest hits" collections for the songs I already have. I get them (used, whenever possible) for the bonus material they add to get suckers like me to buy something again I already have 90% of it. This one is different though.

I welcomed this release as an opportunity to make space on my CD rack by removing many compilations which I had only purchased for the exclusive 6pence track. Goodbye "Dick" soundtrack, no more having to explain your presence. But there are still plenty of CDs that I could have parted with as well, had the songs been included here. The "Bounce" soundtrack, the single for "Us" live on the Today Show(!) are two off the top of my head.

I just heard this CD, with the song "Good to be Free" at a local Christian Bookstore, and the song has a number of lyrics in it which the early church declared as heresy. For example, "Things of this world are overdone Things like theology and philosophy - oh yeah." and "spent so long Living in a cell that I thought was home. I didn't know it wasn't meant for me" These thoughts are not "Biblical" in any sense. This world is our home! Genesis 1 and 2 are pretty clear about. The idea that this world is not our home was a pagan thought made known by followers of the Greek philosophy of Plotinus... thus Neo-Platonism. And then the song devalues the study of God, "theology" and the study of how we study god, "philosophy." No Christian should give this ... Read More:

Hawk Nelson Is My Friend

Our daughter first saw Hawk Nelson perform at a Christian youth seminar. This CD came out soon after that and she's really enjoyed having it. It is very upbeat, "punk" music that kids enjoy and parents can either enjoy or at least tolerate. The words are not negative, hate-filled, sexual, or off limits for younger ears in the house.

The CD is for any teen who likes this genre, not only for Christians. The group is really becoming popular and well known, so the price on this CD has gone up significantly since we bought it. I am a parent who really appreciates finding a group that is tolerable to my ears and enjoyed by my teens. I give this CD an A++++!

This was one of the best (if not THE best) cd I've gotten this year! The lyrics, production, and singing are outstanding. Canton could easily be a superstar if he went mainstream which makes me admire him even more for doing the gospel music thing. My top 3 songs are "Hater Day," "Kingdom Business," and "My Day" but all of the songs are definitely worth a listen. If you're in to good hip hop and r&b you definitely won't regret getting this one! Positive message + positively good talent & faith = a hit cd.

The debut by Fee is a solid collection of worship songs.

All of the songs are clearly focued on praising Jesus Christ. There is no ambiguity with the lyrics here. The rock sound and quality vocals combine to make it a real winner.

There are two real standout tracks on this album: 'All Because of Jesus' and 'Glorious One'. Although these are the best ones, the rest are all very good also.

If you like praise and worship music, this CD would be a good one to get.

Great album. Some of my favorite Praise/Worship songs on this album. Album arrived in good time and in good condition.
