"Grace and Peace" and "All Flesh Is Like the Grass" are two of my favorite Christian pop tunes. I might get a little tired sometimes of the olde English thees and thous (he sings a good number of the old hymns), but Ortega's combination of mellow piano and smooth voice are really good.

This CD is such a blessing. The voices are phenominal. But the messages are powerful. Really gives you something to think about. The first song is especially meaningful to me ... I have walked the broken road and God has truly blessed me despite it, because of it. God is so good and this CD is truly an expression of the rewards He has waiting for us !!!

Even though I'm already a Matthew West fan, I was very pleased and happy about this CD. It even came with some bonus Videos and songs which were exactly that...a BONUS. Even without those this is a great CD to add to the collection. Matthew has a way of writing and uplifting your spirit. Like the title of this review says....He never disappoints.

Johnny Cash is undoubtedly as essential to American music as Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, and Hank Williams. His contributions are admired by both country aficionados and rockers alike. On none of his releases is the reason why as apparent as with his "Live At San Quentin" release.
Here, we're treated to rousing renditions of early Cash classics "Big River," "I Still Miss Somone," and "I Walk The Line" alongside revamped versions of "Folsom Prison Blues," "Ring Of Fire," and "Wreck Of The Old 97." Needless to say, the addition of Carl Perkins to the list of backing musicians has a great deal to do with the musical quality of this show! However, the musical highlights don't stop there:

Morris Robinson has the richest, smoothest bass voice I have enjoyed in a while. The content of GOING HOME is comforting and encouraging; the sound is equally so. Robinson sounds as though he would be as comfortable at the Met as he is in a "down home" little church. I thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to give it as a gift to several friends.Going Home

I really have always loved POG, but felt after several years that all their music was sounding the same. I am truly enjoying this new CD. All the songs are great and harmony it wonderful. I read another comment about how the song "how you live" is not Christian and I really need to say, that I personally felt that was taking it a bit far. The song is lovely. Leave the Scars is another one worthy of those lovely voices. All in all, I am so glad I got it!!

I've been a big fan of the Passion conference collections for the past 10 years, especially the last few which have included the newest live versions of future hits by Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Matt Redman and Charlie Hall.
Passion: God of This City is another good Passion collection. God of This City by Chris Tomlin is one of the highlights and I love the addition of Fee and We Shine to the conference. My other favorites are Hosanna sung by Christy Nockels, The Glory Of It All by David Crowder and my favorite song is Shine by Matt Redman based on Philippians 2:14-16, which seems to be the theme of this album.

The booming bass of Tennessee Ernie Ford is truly something to behold. The envy of opera baritones, Tennessee Ernie Ford is one of the few singers (Crosby and Como come to mind) who can sing the saddest of laments one minute and turn around and sing the funniest of ditties the next. His discography reflects this, and spans from country to rock and from gospel to pop. But, of all Tennessee Ernie Ford's music, I prefer his gospel. His deep, emotive baritone is perfect for shading the notes of even the most wistful heavenly pleas. This CD compilation represents an excellent sampling of his many gospel LPs. Every type of gospel song is present, from the obscure to the ubiquitous. However, what separates these versions of hymns from others is untimely Tennessee ... Read More:

This CD is great! The guys have a modern sound that makes me proud of them infusing it with Gospel. My favourite song is "Holding on to You". I even tested it on group of ppl to see their response to it. It was amazing to see everybody come together and dance to it. Other favourites include the smooth sounding "U Got Me Through", head bobbing "Time for a Change"and the bonus track "Everybody can't Go". As a matter of fact... I love all the songs. Being in the Caribbean, you dont hear much Gospel songs being sung like that. I dont regret buying this Cd at all. Yall better get it, man. Blessings from d Most High to 21:03!
