Does this installment meet the expectations of prior blockbusters from Chris Tomlin? As of this writing, Chris' latest album sits atop of the Christian Contemporary Music chart sales on this site. So far the majority of reviews are also overwhelmingly positive. I respect the integrity of my fellow reviewers to give them the benefit of a doubt that they are being honest and not giving five stars simply because he is Chris Tomlin.

Being someone who felt that Arriving is his best album to date, that See The Morning(the follow-up album to Arriving) was actually a notch down from its predecessor, and who was not nearly as excited about his concert style as most everyone else was, I certainly was not going to give an automatic five ... I am not happy with this CD. I listen to christian radio all day long at work and most of these songs on this CD I have not heard before. Wish I would not have purchased it.

I found this Third Day disc to be my favorite. I especially love song #2. I feel these songs really connected with my spirit.

Outstanding music from the traditional church. Alan did a great job with the old songs. Very well done. Recommended for anyone looking for spiritual music.

This is an awesome CD!!! Is there a live recording of this album? Some of the songs sound like they are cut off @ the end. This is one of the best worship cd's i've ever heard.

This is one of the most encouraging cds I have purchased in a while. The lyrics are heart felt and I feel a true worship to God when I sing the songs. I purchased 3 to give two away as blessings.

Who We Are

Lifehouse is one of the better recent bands. This album is a very good collection.

It features good vocals and instrumentation. It contains several catchy songs. The better ones include the following: Disarray, First Time, Whatever It Takes, Who We Are, Broken, and Storm. The last two songs contain a spiritual and likely Christian theme. They are very good.

If you are not familiar with this group, 'Who We Are' is worth a listen. I also think that their previous album, 'No Name Face' is rather good.

I liked their first two albums much better but this one is still worth buying. I think they had too much large chorus work and little kids singing at odd times but I love CC so I would still buy it again having heard it.

Lost in the Sound of Separation

As a point of interest, I am usually not a very big fan of hardcore music, or metal music, or screamo music, or emo music, or whatever you want to call the type of music that Underoath play. But for some reason, I find myself drawn to this point, probably because of the more interesting song crafts and their interest and execution of dynamics.
Whatever the reason, Underoath's latest album, "Lost in the Sound of Separation" is one of the years best records, a well written, produced and put together album that at a brisk pace of 42 minutes and change is as close to perfect as anything I have heard this year.
