I really wanted to like "Dust." Sup the Chemist's work on SFC's "Illumination" is one of my all-time favorite hip-hop albums. While I was anxious for new Sup material, he layed low for awhile after SFC. After a long wait, I grabbed "Dust" as soon as I found it. It's a big disappointment. This is a mediocre project on every level including the song writing, the melodies, arrangements and samples. With SFC, Sup crafted highly intelligent music by combining hip-hop with jazz. Playing straight hip-hop, this sounds stock. The songs lack hooks. The material just isn't compelling or memorable. A Neho Soul Christmas

An awesome Christmas CD by Bryan Duncan. He doesn't put out much new music so this was a wonderful surprise to find it on Amazon. He is truly a gifted singer. I would definately recommend this to anyone who loves great singing!

When I first heard this cd when it came out, i thought, Wow, a guy that sounds like Eminem and is a Christian. awesome. Then I got to pick up the cd and hear it for myself, and I was hooked. These songs are all awesome. Some of my favorites are 1,2,3, Keep It Moving, Do What I Do, Integrety and my most favorite is They Know Not, which they left off of the 2004 reissue for some stupid reason, along with all of the skits found on this original cd. The original version is worth hunting out, as is the reissue.

One of the best, and in my opinion most underrated, voices in Christian music is Bryan Duncan. His voice can make even the worst lyrics worth listening to. Luckily for us, the lyrics on this album are outstanding.

This 1997 release works not just because of his voice or the lyrics, but also because you can tell that he has poured his heart into it. Listen to "Dying To Meet You" and "A Whisper Heard Around The World" and you will understand what I mean.

In addition to soulful songs, Bryan Duncan also shows us how much fun he can have singing, as evidenced in "Joy Is A Singable Thing." I have always enjoyed listening to him when he sings songs like this one.

I recently bought a copy of this cd for $50 bucks! I know I know...it's alot of money but I'm a huge Beatnuts fan and only had a tape version of this album. I had to own it for my collection no doubt. Let me tell you, if you know the Beatnuts, then expect that level of quality from this album. The cd is dope all the way through. If you really aren't a collector you can download it probably for free if you search hard enough on google. But any serious Beatnuts fan or 90's hiphop collector should pick this up no matter the price. It's worth the money for real. Mostly produced by the Beatnuts with and a couple tracks from Common Sense's old producer No I.D.! Classic album no doubt!
