This is the best Michael Hoppe album. I use it in my Reflexology sessions and my clients and I love it. After hearing this one, I bought several other Michael Hoppe albums, but this one takes you to a deeper place than any others.

If you like Enya then you will like Clannad. This is where Enya got her start (most if not all are relatives of hers) and although Clannad's music is more upbeat "traditional Irish music" than Enya's, there is still a more "etherial" sound to many of their songs. Some songs are in English and some are in Irish, but they are all great music.

Of course I've always been in love with Michael Flately ever since Riverdance....but I love the Feet of Flames cd in addition to his Lord of the Dance. My students loves the music because it's upbeat and different.

This first CD by Solas is an excellent debut album for the group featuring roaring tunes and heart-warming songs, a trend that continues onto the followup album. This album has both beautiful and foot-stomping moments.

All the musicians are at the top of their form. Karan Casey brings a unique and beautiful voice. John Williams is at the top of his game on the box and is definitely the highlight of the album. John Doyle's unique guitar style is taking shape here and it's interesting to see what a delightful style he has created (listen to "In Play" by Liz Carroll and John Doyle for some of his best work). When I was younger, I used to love the Corrs. I still do, and I think their music has grown with the generations. 'In Blue' is their catchiest album and it's got the whole glitzy, glam, powerpop that makes you want to dance and sing along. Their most 'known' hits were from this album - and with good reason - this one is the most marketable, music industry wise.

Best Tracks include - "Radio", "At Your Side", "No More Cry", "Would You Be Happier", "Give Me A Reason", "Breathless" and "Iresistable".

Heard about this band through the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and I love their music and energy. I haven't heard any of their other cd's, but highly recommend this one.

I was going to rate this 4 stars, because I was unhappy to find so many instrumental tracks. They are pretty (though nothing special), but there are 6 of them. Out of twelve that's disappointing, but then I read the booklet and found that there are an additional 2 tracks you can get on the computer. One of them is called Story, which is more of a spoken poem; the other I'm not sure but I'm calling it Far Away and it's very beautiful.
A lovely album altogether.

About the extra tracks, you can get them only on the computer. For windows I'm not sure, but the 'presentation' doesn't work on my Mac. However, you can access the folder called 'gary media' and drag the tracks to iTunes (or your desktop). Along with the two complete songs, you also get a lot ... Read More:

Wind Songs

Loved it. Hoppe and Wheater create truely beautiful and healing music that is like no other I have heard. I found the album "Yearnings to be
deeply emotional and healing. "Wind Songs" is as beautiful, but slightly less emotional/sad and more even kiel than "Yearnings". "Wind Songs" is soothing to listen to anytime.
