I didn't realize when I bpought this CD that it had only 2 songs on it and it was very expensive for only 2 songs. i think it was something like $12+. I was going to return it but just missed the 30 day return policy. I bought it on Dec.4 and wasn't really thinking about returning things as soon as Jan.4. I will need to be much more careful next time I think about ordering anything like that.

Winter by Tori Amos contains some of her best b-sides. The Pool is a short and haunting ballad, Take to the Sky is coy and brilliant, Sweet Dreams is pure fun with perculiar lyrics, and Upside Down just gives me chills. The song Winter is also a beautiful track taken from her debut album, Little Earthquakes. This is one b-side worth owning if you are a die-hard Tori fan. She rocks!

You Look So Fine by Garbage is my favorite song ever recorded! The first time I heard this sexy, moody, dark track was when I purchased Version 2.0. I was hooked after the first listen, Shirley Manson's vocals are pure magic and lyrics are like poetry. When this song was released as an import, I had to buy it as well. I am not sure if this is the particular version I have but mine contains two b-sides, Get Busy with the Fizzy and Soldier Through This. Both of these songs are fantastic, one is fast and funky and the other is a beautiful, intense ballad. The remix's are great as well. I highly recommend this wonderful item!

Don't go away is a good song, one of the best from the not so popular Be Here Now LP. All the songs were good, just over produced however. The title track of this single is no different, would have sounded a lot better stripped down but here it is as it sounds on the album. The real reason to buy this song is for the 3rd track, 'sad song'. From The definitely maybe era it is one of my fave all time Oasis songs and available for the first time on this single. Unless you can get Definitely maybe on vinyl. Warchild version of fade away sounds good in its acoustic here too.

This was the the original bands first single as a signed act, which came out to promote Portrait Of An American Family (followed by Lunch Box and the Smells Like Children EP). As stated by many people before me, the first two tracks are straight off of the album. The remix of Get Your Gunn isn't essential but it's pretty damn neat--- if you are a big fan, I recommend this mix primarily because it deconstructs the song. In the process of doing so, it reveals a lot of the samples buried deep in the mix which are nearly inaudible on the album version. I still prefer the original mix, but this kind of gives you an insight into how much work actually went into texturing the album and how little sounds make a big impact.
