Mixes and bonus track are great. Exactly what you'd expect from Erasure. You can't go wrong with Erasure unless it's that Union street CD junk.

1. Joga(Howie B. Main Mix)-This track is a variation on the album version with very few minor differences (namely extra beats and a few new noises at the end). The beats are more "thumping" than on the album version, but the strings are retained so it sounds just as beautiful. 2. Joga(String & Vocal Mix)-This is basically an orchestral version of the album track. very nice. 3. Joga(Buzz Water Mix)-a toned down mix. Mostly vocals and some soothing keyboard and distant beats (which you can barely hear, sounds like when someone is wearing headphones and you can barely hear the beat of the song they're listening to). Further into the song, they put in a kind of annoying noise. 4. All Is Full Of Love(Choice Mix) ... Read More:

Trent Reznor (and, briefly, drum n' bass artist Photek) takes us on a strange journey through diverse soundscapes. One of his best pet-projects, in my opinion! Bowie's lyrics get a remix treatment they deserve!

This 1991 hit single from Seal is my favorite song by him to date. It is truly unique in a way that only seal could have done it. It is a very ominous dance classci with a mix of house dance beats but is meshed with a dark and cloudy day atmosphere to create one of the best dance singles of all time, at least to me anyway. The menacing rhythm and intense beats are the stuff of legend to me. 13 years after it's release it doesn't sound the slightest bit dated and is in fact far ahead of it's time and would sound more innovative than a lot of what we hear nowadays. It's that good! A highly recommended single.

What a thrill rush it was for me listening to Oasis' exhiliarting debut album "Definitely Maybe" album back in March of 1995. By all means, I was eager to hear more from these blokes, and imagine my surprise when I came across "Cigarettes & Alcohol", an absolute gem of a CD single. At this point, it's widely confirmed that Oasis' CD singles are a huge part of their legacy--their b-sides were typically just as great as the songs that made it onto the official albums--but back in '95, I didn't really know any better, and I just picked this up starving for more Oasis material. The title track was the 4th & final A-side culled from "Definitely Maybe", and with its T. Rex-derived riff, it's a great example of the exciting rock & roll blast Oasis were serving ... Read More:

I bought this hoping for club mixes, and I was very disappointed. They are slow RnB type mixes. The plus side is that if you own the Japanes version of this single (I do) you get instrumental versions of all the mixes as well.

I discovered KOL recently and absolutely love "Because of the Times". I snapped up their other two releases, but still believe BOTT to be their best by far. As such, I noticed that the singles from this album included some non-album tracks. In "Fans" case, it's "Woo Hoo". This is certainly a good song and along the lines of quality with any other songs on BOTT. The real gem in terms of b-sides for the BOTT-era is "My Third House" from the "On Call" single. This is an excellent song which I highly recommend. The other single of the era "Charmer", has a remix of "My Party" which is just OK. Kings of Leon have a lot of b-sides so I would have to believe a Rarities/B-Sides album will come eventually (a la the Killers "Sawdust"). If your a modest fan, I'd say wait for ... Read More:

Lithium is an awsome song, and so are the other two. Been a Son Live is equal to the recording that's on Incesticide. Curmudgeon is a really cool song also. It's worth it if you like Nirvana.

It's a good start after being gone for so long. If you liked 7 more minutes, you should like this. If the only song by the Rentals you know is "Friends of P", you might want to go get some 90's alternative hits cd. They put on a great show when I saw them in Detroit.

Simply put, the live songs on this album are the best live recordings of the Cure I've yet to hear. Better than Show, better than Paris, and although I haven't heard Concert, from what others say it's surely better than that as well. These are four of my favorite songs off of Disintegration, all performed brilliantly. "Last Dance" seems to be underrated from what I've seen others say, but to me is the point during Disintegration where the album really starts moving towards the meat of the album, really starting to dig into the brooding, plaintive mood that climaxes with "The Same Deep Water as You" (which, unfortunately, is not one of the live tracks on this single). Roberts elongated howl on "Prayers for Rain" on "RAaaaaaiiiinnn" is stunning...he seems to hold onto it for an ... Read More:
