Of the Give 'Em The Boot albums this is simply the best and certainly one of the best punk samplers ever. It is a great mix of crusty punk and ska. It showcases the best bands that Epitaph has to offer. This is a must have for any punk or ska fan.
Release Date November 25, 1997
I was lucky enought to be at the concert in Edmonton where "With or Without You" was recorded and I have to tell you that even 10 years later, hearing the recording off Please, takes me right back to that amazing night. From start to finish this album embodies everything that is U2 and I promise, it won't dissapoint.

madonna is the queen of pop! and the biggest selling female artist of all time!
shep pettibone was the most-sought after remixer of the 80's...
before the two collaborated in "vogue" in 1990, shep was remixing most the songs of madonna, starting with 1986' true blue!
when madonna released the album and single "like a prayer" critics praised both song and album as the artist's "most serious undertaking" in her career...
with the controversial video accompaying the spirutally-vague track, shep was able to remix the song, enhance it and bring out its hidden beauty! voila! madonna's 12-inch remix of like a prayer is yet to be equalled by remixers and composers alike. while the madonna of the 90's and the millennium ... Excellent. Has 2 songs on it but was worth the money. I am a collector of oldies and this is real rare to find. Santa Claus is coming to town was excellent.
Release Date September 24, 2002
I was very disappointed with this, but gave it 3 stars because it's probably my fault for not listening to the samples or reading the description closely enough. I don't know what I was expecting when I got this, but am a Jewel fan and thought it was just different versions of her "Serve the Ego" single. It is, but they're dance club mixes, and I can't see why anyone would enjoy listening to this CD unless they're on the dancefloor or at a club. The tracks are all repetitive and pretty much all sound the same to me. All drum beats with her lyrics every couple of minutes.
I don't want to fault the CD since I'm not a fan of dance mixes and can't judge whether this is a good one or not since I don't know what constitutes a "good" dance mix, but buyer ... Read More:

Don't go away is a good song, one of the best from the not so popular Be Here Now LP. All the songs were good, just over produced however. The title track of this single is no different, would have sounded a lot better stripped down but here it is as it sounds on the album. The real reason to buy this song is for the 3rd track, 'sad song'. From The definitely maybe era it is one of my fave all time Oasis songs and available for the first time on this single. Unless you can get Definitely maybe on vinyl. Warchild version of fade away sounds good in its acoustic here too.

Alright, here's a band with an original sound and lirycs... Not to mention the amazing drummer ! The best track ? "why father" Love that tune right there. I seen them live at hellfest and i was not bored or disapointed at all so if you dont have walls of jericho's " aday & a thousand years" go get it now... I aslo recommend the band "still breathing" for those who enjoy listining to female vocalist in hardcore music and can't stand that .... band known as kittie buy either walls of jericho or still breathing!
Release Date December 05, 1995
This disc is consistently great all the way through, I love all the songs. They really trimmed away the excesses on this one - no filler at all. Yeah there's only two songs, that's the joke. But seriously this disc did represent a huge turning point for the band, a new direction away from teen angst and towards more serious songwriting. Both of these songs are still in regular play and make it to my mixes of favorite songs all these years later. They fit with the vibe and feel of No Code, my favorite Pearl Jam full-length which came out the following year. Yet even No Code had its weak spots and filler. This one, by virtue of being a single, didn't have space for it. Now I wonder, why is it out of print? It's a classic and should be heard by anyone remotely interested ... Read More:
