Kylie's "Can't Get You Out of My Head" single is great! "cd2" of the single includes three mixes of the song. I usually enjoy remixes, so this CD was a treat for me.
"Can't Get You Out of My Head" (3:50) is a great pop song and is what got me interested in Kylie's music. I normally do not listen to popular music, but I took an instant liking to this song.
The next mix, "K & M's Mindprint Mix" (6:34) is even better. It still largely resembles the other mix, but is longer and is more dance/techno-like.
Finally, the "Plastikca Mix" (9:26) is a really dance/ techno mix. There is much less singing in this mix and it has a long introduction. Between the three unique versions of the song, there is something ... Read More:

I've read several of the reviews here that both liked and did not like this album, but there was one thing in common with ALL of them... No one seemed to know the origins of the album. In the case of Ba Ba Ti Ki Di Do, that is the single most important thing in understanding/appreciating the music. CONTEXT.
American choreographer Merce Cunningham made a dance piece / ballet entitled "Split Sides." The idea was that there were two lighting arrangements, two soundtracks, two of everything that could be interchanged from one half of the show to the other. He got Sigur Ros to write half of the music (Ba Ba Ti Ki Di Do), and he got Radiohead to write the other half (music they chose not to release). The music was a collaborative effort ... Read More:

Let's face it... There are probably only a few reasons anyone would purchase this CD:
1. You are a completist (and the rating doesn't matter)
2. You want the B-Side.
If you are in category 1, go for it (I did). If you are in category 2, save the money. The single version of Vertigo is not any different than the album version. The B-Side can probably be easily found on I-Tunes or other online dealer for around $1. In fact, I don't find this B-Side to be one of U2's better ones. It is a decent song, but is any song really worth a $10 plus purchase? In general, U2's B-Sides have shown a definite decline, probably because little work is put into their production making these B-Sides effectively little more than demos.

It's a cryin' shame that this is in the "Shame It's Out-of-Print" File, because this is one of the very best maxi-singles from a band that has put out a lot of 'em. In addition to the single itself, there are three non-album tracks, two of them must-have's for fans:
"The Fame," with Noel on vocals, is among the group's very best songs, with the signature rollicking, fuzzing guitars and a sing-a-long, wall-of-sound chorus. I can't believe this track was left off "Be Here Now," but then I'm also not sure what song I'd cut to make room for it. And as much as I love the Rolling Stones, the cover of "Street Fighting Man" may well be better than the original. It is, at the very least, a fantastic, rip-roaring modernization of a classic.

Like the Amazon.com review says, there are much better punk rock records out there, and much better Beastie Boys records out there, but I still like this little CD. I like that the Beastie Boys haven't ignored their hardcore roots, despite becoming HUGELY famous for their hip hop skills. This is a good disc to toss in the CD player along with some Bad Brains, Adolescents, Agent Orange, and other stuff like that.

This cd single is very, very good.
The first 3 songs being the best.
If you are a Madonna fan, and don't have this, try to find and buy this, as it is a great addition to any fans collection.
Release Date December 28, 1999
I like this song because it never gets boring know matter how much you listen to it, and Placebo have a unique sound of music compared to most bands.

Cherry Area and No Tan Lines are anthems of the Eccherstentialist movement. The wit and cheer exuded by these two jams eccspecially get the feet to tappin and the hindquarters to wigglin'. The line from Cherry Ares "...and your gross, gross television set" strikes a chord deeply within my gut and when you add the keyboardy outro? Golly. This band exemplified what it meant to be eccsellent. And as Ed McMahon said, "The Pavements are a good band."
