i love this album!!! cherub rock is one of the pumpkins greatest songs and pissant is one hell of a scorching rock song. french movie theme is ok, quite light and almost belongs at the end of a move during credits. you can hear it on viephora too. as much as some fo my fellow reviewers think this is one to pass, i say this album is by far worth your $$$$$.

Okay, if you're a Radiohead completist you're going to buy this CD regardless. But it's not worth the cash IMO.

Don't get me wrong, the songs are excellent as usual. "Just" is one of my favorite tracks from The Bends. And the "Mogadon version" of Killer Cars is a very interesting interpretation, almost a single-worthy mix.

But you already have "Just", and if you have "Killer Cars" on another CD single or bootleg it's not worth buying. Radiohead are known for releasing b-side gems to their fans on their singles; this one falls short of better efforts like "Fake Plastic Trees [US #2]", "Street Spirit (Fade Out) [UK #2]" or "Pyramid Song Pt.1".

This special EP was released around Valentines Day in the very late 90's at Walmart. It was an exclusive single and since I am a TRUE Mariah fan, I had to get it.

Do You Know Where You're Going (From Mahogany) is a rare track not found anywhere else and therefore ALL Mariah fans should own this!

That other reviewer who said this should only be for people who are not fans should be ashamed of themselves! How can us Mariah fans get this rare cover without buying this promo? Think about it!

Anyway, I love this cover of Do You Know Where You're Going To! Mariah's vocals are flawless and she hits those high notes like no other singer!

2. Foolish Games (LP Version)
Is there any chance the ASIN displayed on this page is wrong (B000005JXX)? If so, could you please post the correct one? Because I really want try ordering this again so I can hear and own "Cold Song" and "Rocker Girl". Thanx!

Fade into You

I mainly bought this CD single for the song "Fade Into You," which is a terrific, dreamy opener on here, as well as on Mazzy Star's "So Tonight That I May See" album. A close second favorite of mine is track #3: "Under My Car"--a somewhat morbid and airy tune--which (as far as I know) isn't available on any of their other CDs.

The remaining two songs were enjoyable as well--"I'm Gonna Bake My Biscuit" [#2] (though it took me a few listens to like it) and "Bells Ring (Acoustic Version)" [#4]--the latter song also available on "So Tonight That I May See," but in its original version. Overall, a nice sampling of somber alt rock music. (4 tracks in total)

"Universal Heart-Beat", the only single released from Juliana Hatfield's "Only Everything" album is a fine EP augmenting the single with three b-sides. "Universal Heart-beat", for those not familiar, is an odd, bouncing piece with a brilliantly agile Wurlizter piano part on the verses and a monsterous chorus. It's a great little pop gem in Hatfield's catalog.

The b-sides are all quite good, but it's pretty clear why they were left off the album-- they're all listenable but none of them are particularly memorable. "Where Would I Be Without You" features sludgey, layered guitars and a tame vocal, "Yardsailing" is probably the best of the three, with a mumbled, stream of conscious lyric and a driving rhythm.
