Really the only reason to buy this is for the two bonus tracks that are not on the album of The Fragile, unless you buy the triple vinyl, which I might add is well worth it.

So, yeah, for a collector, no for a casual fan on this one.

Clearly two groups will be interested in this album: Doctor Who fans (and who isn't these days with the new series going into it's fourth year), and 80's British club culture fans (and certainly there are more than a couple of us that Raved).

This is the "album" that marked the end of the commercial exploits of the KLF/JAMM, and so the publicity goes it's the million pounds they got from sales of this that they burned. Long out of original print, non-British companies have had the rights to continue distribution, but it is a vanishing artifact.

Of course, there was no actual TV episode where a Dalek spoke, "Loads of money".

This was the first album I heard from ToD and I was reeled in. Utterly. These are five of the greatest little masterpieces of modern rock with "Crowning of a Heart" being one of my personal favorite songs of all-time. It is a different-sounding take for them, and they make it sweet, sincere, and beautiful. "Intelligence" is unique and punching, "All Saints Day" is a bonafide classic... a must-hear. They all are.

And I will know them by the trail of (songs stuck in my) head...

I love the way it all works: the jangly guitar, the soaring key chords, the tambourine, the mandolin sound that I love from the Cure, the drum fills, and Robert Smith's quiet, poignant, melody that invites me to turn it up and strain my ears to absorb. The fade-away ending... and then I want to hear it again, to feel it again, so I rewind and repeat.

Sour Times

There are 3 remixes or Sour Times on this CD. 2 of them (tracks 2 and 6) are barely different from the original but aren't as good. Although they aren't _bad_ they just aren't very interesting. "Lot More" is the 3rd remix, and it is practically rap, its nothing like the Portishead we are used to. (I can't stand that track).

"Tribute..." Is really pretty good, its a 7 minute long jazz/blues piece (no singing) followed by a few second of silence followed by a 4 minute blues-y remix of another song from Dummy. This is easily the best track on the single.

"Theme..." looked very promising since its from a movie... except they never sing on this track either. Its allright, its better than the ... Read More:

Since the release of Ok Computer, Radiohead have been known for their creative song writing and interesting production. This incredible single is a perfect demonstration of how creative they can be both in terms of writing and production, and the result is beautiful.

'Pyramid Song' is an emotive and eerily beautiful piece of music. The song is built upon a relatively simple (but certainly not common) repeating chord progression played on the piano, over which subtly eerie orchestral sounds echo, before Yorke's gentle vocals enter. The timing is unusual yet comfortable, and upon first listen you may think that there's no definate timing at all. I love this album. I think Madonna is very talented and everything she does is amazing. My favorite songs are Music, Impressive Instant, Runaway lover and Amazing. I suggest you buy it because you never hear Impressive Instant or Runaway lover on the radio.

Bitter Sweet Symphony

Bitter sweet symphony is one of those songs that on a rainy day and it seems nothing is going right this song seems to ease all of that and makes things seem to make some sort of sense. hard to believe this cut is a decade old. it seems just like yesterday. the extra tracks are cool as well."Echo Bass" is Nice of the extra tracks, but Bitter sweet symphony is the cut.
