All in all a good CD. The addition of all of the special guest musicians on some of the old songs really gave it a nice flair. The newer music was good as well. Would recommend to any Little Feat Fan.

Hey it's really beyond me how five of the lowest class crocks from Grave Britain can turn into muzak icons. In 1964 they jumped around a tidbit and they shook their greasy hairs but these antics dont make a good music. They are filthy poseurs without any form of talent whatsoever. I'd rather listen to Andreew Ridgeley of Wham team up with Barry Manilow for some good rock!! You must be spoilt fools to believe that this crappy CD is worth more than a stifled laugh. Get over it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

M.I.A.'s sophomore album "Kala" continues some of what people knew her to be during the first album. This is still dance stuff, filled with certain samples that range from monotonous to interesting, with all kinds of tracks. And what separates her from many at times is the bigger use of world/tribal sounds at times. I am not as big on this album as others but it doesn't mean that they're wrong or anything.
The "low" (for some) rating has more to do with it being a mixed bag for my money than anything else. It's an album where a lot of the more listenable moments come later rather than in the first half. "Paper Planes" is understandably the hit here, with a sample of the Clash's guitars and awesome gunshots used in the chorus. The sound ... Read More:

I love this cd! Its one of the very few cds I own that I can listen to all the way through. I did not skip any tracks. She is very talented, yet humble.

At the end of "Glass Onion" is when you know you are in for something unique and special from the Beatles on The White Album. The end of the song features a slow, piercing violin meshed with a "dink, dink, dink" sound that prepares the listener by saying "Okay, we are going to do something different and we are going to lay it all on the line for you, so be ready." Although I believe Revolver to be the quintessential Beatles album because of its mastery of the balance of art and pop, I believe The White Album to be the very best Beatles album of them all because it has aged the best. Paul himself said, "It stood up, but it wasn't a pleasant one to make." Admit it, Sgt. Pepper sounds like a 1967 album, (which doesn't necessarily hinder its greatness) but The White ... Read More:

While critics will debate forever the impact of Journey on the world of music, for us fans, there IS no debate...the band rocks and we love 'em and their music--for the most part--will be timeless. I've been in radio for the better part of 20 years now, and I cannot remember a time when I did not receive regular requests for Journey, both then and now. Why? I suppose every person must ask themselves why Journey *works* for you, but for me? I just love a song with a great hook, and Journey is definitely in no short supply of those.
I have noticed that even some Fans have been critical of why some songs were included why others were omitted...and for the most part, I agree--but we have to temper that with the fact that Journey more than likely had ZERO choice ... Read More:

It's taking forever for Capital Records to release the Mono version of this recording. The Mono sounds better and is quite different,a couple songs are even played in a different key than the stereo versions. Pick up the Millenium Remasters Collection import for true joy

I'm a fan of Jems first CD Finally Woken, but this was almost painful. This album just seems to lay there, while trying too hard at too many styles. This is a classic example of a sophomore slump, no doubt about it. A four year wait, for this? Well, at least they got the title right.
Release Date September 23, 2008
I was hoping this album would be a return to form for OCMS after the disappointing Big Iron World but, in fact, it is even worse. There is just no spark and the songwriting is horrific. I don't know if they quit drinking, doing coke, or what the problem is but the album just sounds so sober. No fun.
Release Date March 13, 2007
I absolutely adore this album. I am not too crazy about Amy Winehouse herself and her real-life rehab experiences but this album is just amazing. All the songs are so heart felt, so real, so full of emotion. I prefer some of the less popular songs to the ones that had huge commercial success.
