The CD's I purchase although appearing brand new and packaged as such both skipped, repeating a portion of the track over and over.
I suppose this may happen but I have not experienced this it all my other purchases of music.
As to the content on other tracks; interesting interpretation of the great Cole Porter.

Agree with the buyer who found this CD "so so." The songs are simply a compilation of some rather old versions of Italian melodies, with really dated arrangements. Nothing exciting or original here at all. Would definitely not recommend. We were disappointed, as we bought the CD for an Italian wedding, but tossed it....we found another one on Amazon that served us much better and had more original and lively music. If you want a historical compilation of old versions of Italian songs, you may like this, but it doesn't serve today's sophisticated sound tastes at all.

Contains all their big hits, but none of their later material. It was a straight re-issue of the 1968 LP, which was pretty much the norm in the early days of CD's. But this excellent set is long over due for an update, including remastering. Add another 5 or 6 songs from their later albums and it would be an easy 5 star CD. As is it is very good. "Everything That Touches You" is one of the best love songs to come out of the 60's. "Windy" and "Cherish" are classics. Nobody sounded like the Association.

This is an extremely useful cd in teaching students their multiplication tables and parts of speech. It also has Science and Social Studies songs!

This is the best album to listen to or just to use as background music.
I have this on every Sunday morning while I read the newspaper
Everyone should have this CD in their collection

For the most part, this is a great soundtrack. The only problem I have with this, is that the "La Bamba" on the CD is not the exact one played in the movie during the concert and also at the end of the movie where the credits are. The one in the movie is SLIGHTLY faster and upbeat. Would have loved to have that version on the CD.

As a Disco CD this far outranks the average assembly of hit singles. In my opinion, over two thirds of the list falls under the `Yes, these songs indeed represent what the disco era was about' category. Sure, 5 or 6 dupes did get included but no compilation ever completely tracks anybody's all-time favorites (unless maybe you're an Elvis fan whom has carefully scanned all 70 or so of his `originally arranged' Essential Greats). Anyway, `nuff of the analyzation. If you're alone thinking a boost could be in order, with your special mate or simply wish to get into a happy mood with a bunch of buddies then this CD definitely includes purpose for you...

So, as far as being fourteen goes, I think everyone owes it to themselves to pick up the ORIGINAL Dazed and Confused soundtrack, because it is without a doubt essential listening. If you are a fan of the first, then you will probably want this one, as a companion to the first, and a way to stretch out what comes out the boombox, while you slug a few of the beers you stole from your parents fridge out behind the local town moon tower.
I don't like it as much as the first volume, and always thought that maybe the title should have been... "A little Less Dazed And Confused..." but thats only because it has less songs, and two of them are Peter Frampton songs... back to back?!
I still give it five stars though. Mix it up ... Read More:

I am starting to make the transition between Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, etc. and more unknown early 90's music so this CD seemed like a good buy. I couldn't be happier. Not only are there songs on here by Chris Cornell and Pearl Jam that I never heard before, but I got to listen to other bands such as the Screaming Trees. All in all, this is a great CD for someone who is looking to branch out from the mainstream grunge music of the early 90's but is a little unsure of what to try next.
