The first time I listened to this I was a little disappointed thinking the production ( older recordings) was sub par. However I came to it a second time with triple the volume & it came to life in a BIG way! Marvelous interplay of voices. Wide variety of stylings. Cool Christian vibes! Very different! Try it out!

If you want to get that old 80s groove on at home in your button up, long sleeve shirt, sunglasses, and underwear, then this is a must have. In fact the serious (5 CD Set) is chalk full of all those one-hit wonders of the 80s along with a few of the main stream artists of that time like Thompson Twins, Tears for Fears, etc...
Those of you in your 30s to low 40s will live this CD and its companions. I recommend getting them all to add to any 80s collection. It beats buying each individual artest.

Smooth Grooves: A Sensual Collection, Vol. 7 is another amazing set of classic slow jams. Volume 7 mainly deals with songs all concering some form of heartbreak. Sukiyaki,Love On A Two Way Street, Tears, Toast To The Fool are all truthfully with heartbreaking harmonies and ever singer is in top form. The song that stands out the most to me to Try Again by Champagin. The song is dire need of a remake by a capable artist like Jon B. or Brian Mcknight. Other stand out tracks include the classic baby maker Love You Down By Ready For The World. So light some candles, burn some inscense and break out the starwberries and go back to a time when love was love.

Super Hits Of The '70s: Have a Nice Day, Volume 16 gives us more great `70s hits in this 25 CD series. I like the quality of the sound and the diversity of artists makes it an interesting album to hold onto for some while to come. Some of these can be hard to find on CD elsewhere so this is a good `70s hit music album.

The track set has several songs that appeal to me very much. Blues Image performs their rock ballad "Ride Captain Ride;" the very subtle country twist enhances the melody. Blues Image harmonizes the chorus really well, too.

The Assembled Multitude does a great job with their interpretation of the overture to the rock opera Tommy; and listen for Ten Years After doing a somewhat psychedelic rock styled ballad entitled ... Read More:

I just bought this cd a couple of weeks ago, and I really LOVE it!! This is the third Eden's Bridge cd I've bought, and am now looking to buy some more. I really love the Celtic flair, it can be very fun, and also very relaxing. I really like how a lot of these songs are based on psalms from the Bible.

I was not quite ten years old when my firends and I first listened to these hits on Seattle's popular radio station KJR. We had our own 'radio studio' at our elementary school called KIDS, and we played these hits on 45 rpm vinyl over the school's PA system during the lunch break. Billboard has put together a nice compilation from that year, including the relatively seldom heard "Couldn't Get It Right" by Climax Blues Band. This CD will be in your changer for many days as you re-live 1977 all over again!
