Bearing in mind I absolutely and passionately love Patsy's Greatest Hits album, this one comes a very close second. You will need Greatest Hits for the ideal version of "Walkin' After Midnight", an improvement on the original included here.
Patsy's vocal persona was one of wounded, obsessional devotion. "Crazy" is indeed her theme song. With ten more tracks to share her unbalanced dedication, all of which are well worth inclusion, you just have all that much longer to enjoy her. Bear in mind I have only listened once, I feel confident the entire contents will form an essential part of my listening regime.
As a vehicle for demonstrating Patsy's incomparable communicative powers, this CD is probably the best you can ... Read More:

I recently saw the 2008 tour production of Spamalot with my family. I would have liked to obtained a CD/DVD of that, but the 2005 version is just as good. I purchased two CD's because I knew my kids would take it and I'd never be able to listen to it. Good thing I did.

Don't believe what you read in the New York Times, especially those caustic reviews by Ben Brantley. He needs to go! Get Clive Barnes back! "Young Frankenstein" is a wonderful, hilarious romp parodying the musicals of Cole Porter and Friml and Youmans. It takes you back to when musicals were fun and frolicsome. There are great performances from everyone. Only Roger Bart doesn't match the mayhem and I think that is more of a directorial matter. I would love to see someone like Bill Irwin or even Robin Williams takeover the role.
The audience simply adored the show when I saw it. And the CD is well worth the price. If you're in New York take in "YF" and another Brantley reject "A Catered Affair." Take a pass on "In the Heights" which is over ... Read More:

Do you like to listen to music on your Walkman as you take your daily stroll? Do you like background music during a nice dinner, or while you are reading? Do you enjoy lush harmonies? Then this recording is for you.
Do you want music you can analyze and categorize? Then pass this one up.
For me, the pluses of the disc: For the most part, the orchestrations support and complement the singers. The four part harmonies are delightful.
The minuses: It all sounds alike. Nothing on the recording reaches out and grabs your attention. "Unchained Melody" and "My Way" begin as if they are going to be different; then they quickly gravitate into the sameness.
Don't throw the recording away. Just listen to it under the right conditions, ... Read More:

This is the best soundtrack recording I have ever bought!
It really brings back the episode for me every time I hear it and makes me smile. I probably would have just perfered an audio track of the entire episode, with dialogue, but this is great. If you are a OMWF episode fan or just a fan of the series get this you won't be dissapointed.

"Arrival" is rife with great songs, performances and instrumentation. If you're new to Abba, start with this album. From the concert hall sound of "Dancing Queen" to the instrumental closer "Arrival", this album plays effortlessly through the whole pop spectrum . Benny and Bjorns music will continue to enthrall and entertain new audinces for years to come. For my money they were the Swedish Lennon/McCartney.
