Whew!! You get the original recordings with this CD. I have purchased similar artists from this era (50's & 60's) and received Remake Junk. These record distibutors should warn buyers if the contents is original or not and let us make the decission to buy knowing that. Any way this is a great CD that covers probably all there radio hits as I remember them.

I love Tony Bennett and I love or like most of the songs but at the same time I was dissappointed. Can't quite put my finger on why but...dissappointed is still the word I would use to discribe my reaction to this CD. Sorry Tony!

For those looking for the best version of the show on CD, this is the one you want. The show is basically a love story between an American G.I., Chris (Simon Bowman) and a young Vietnamese girl, Kim (Lea Salonga) just before the American departure from Saigon in 1975. The show attempts to address some similar issues from LES MISERABLE, such as the cruelty and injustice of unfair working conditions and timeless love, but these are basically camouflage for an ill-fated love story.
