When I first saw this movie I was 9. It was so incredible. Now I'm 19 and the movie is still my number 1. I watch it all the time. I only recently bought the soundtrack, but I love it so much! Its beautiful and enchanting. My favorite songs are "In the Dark of the Night" and "A Rumor in St. Petersburg". Absolutely fantastic. 5 stars.

With the recent reissue of the DVD, I was hoping the complete soundtrack would be offered in conjunction with the movie -- no such luck. It's odd because "Drum Dreams," "Fool Country," and "You Made Me Love You" were all issued as B-sides, so the music IS available. And I always thought it would be cool to have the full-length mix of the title song as seen in the movie. Oh well, the original album still has plenty of merits.

I have not been a big Celine Dion fan, but I watched her sing the title song, "Miracle" on a tv show. I bought my original CD from a local store after watching the performance. The songs are absolutely wonderful! My personal favorites are Miracle, Come To Me, and If I Could, but all of the songs are great. I bought this CD as a gift to my niece, who is pregnant with her second child. She loves these songs, as well. I used the music to put together a slideshow of pictures of my children growing up. These are songs from a mother to her child (or about her child), and describe the unconditional love of a mother. I highly recommend it if you are looking for this type of music.

Dean Martin was always eager to be a Pop Star, have radio hits, and be beloved. He sang with a Bing Crosby croon, a European angst, and a grin a wink that others still try to emulate. Elvis Presley, the so-called rebel, took Dean's deep throated swing to tenor and lows and made his ballads a fine copy..just listen to Elvis's early attempts. Pure Dean.
This is a compendium of Dean's Italian songs. Dean always sounded comfortable with the dramatic lyrics of an Italian love song, even more than contempory compadre Frank. + Dean had humor that others couldn't match. Frank Sinatra may have been the consummate saloon singer, but Dean was the best at making people at ease.
This CD gathers bunches of his Italian amore signatores. There are ... Read More:

I grew up loving and listening to JudyG at Carnagie Hall! I heard about Rufus's tribute to her, and couldn't wait to hear his sound.
All I can say is, this isnt a tribute, its a disappointment!
Its more a tribute to a less than mediocre artist, who used a real artists name, to make himself famous!

Having seen the original Broadway and subsequent revivals in NYC and LA, I must say that "Sweeney" never ceases to thrill - scored and written brilliantly. My only complaint with this particular 2-disc set (this was a replacement to an earlier 2-disc set) is that the libretto is not included.

from: Walt Disney Records
Release Date September 13, 2005
In an era of so many Disney feature film crossovers to the stage, we all knew "Mary Poppins" would have to make its way to Broadway eventually. There is a story that the Sherman brothers wrote an ending song for the film that Walt Disney did not like. He said that it was a fine way to end a Broadway show but not his movie. Little did Walt know what was to come!
The original (and beloved) score by the Sherman brothers remains substantially intact among several new songs by the British song-writing team of George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. Their contributions are very much in the style of the originals but never, to my ears, blend seamlessly. Each original song has been re-arranged and re-orchestrated for this show, making them a little more "theatrical" ... Read More:

Due to the fine contributions of my vast fan club, I was able to afford a 5 star restaurant for some fine cuisine. I took my seeress love Sondra to the world reknown Le Chateau de Penguin (named, I suppose, for the way the waiters look). We were seated immediately in the lush Iceberg Room, with beautiful paintings of lettuce on the walls. Awesome and stunning. And let's not forget the ice sculptures of Dr. Federick A. Cook and Admiral Robert E. Peary, at opposite ends of the center french provincial table that was home to the Louis the 14th crystal punch bowl. It was all pomp and atmosphere folks. Sort of like Metamorpho.
After some amuse-bouches and apertifs, we settled down for the main course. She- la coq au vin and me- le boef bourguignon. To compliment ... Read More:
