"Pure Morning" is one of XM 43's better songs. Everything else here is only somewhat worse. All in all, they show a lot of promise in every area. Realisticly, they've got to improve to make a go of it.

This EP (like most MBV EPs) was written and released prior to either of their albums. On Glider you can hear the band begin to develop their technique for out of this world "shoegaze" guitar tones, as opposed to a lot of their earlier EPs. If you're already a fan of Isn't Anything and Loveless this would be a good place to go next.

First of all, i'm a 15 year old boy in love with lisa. The song i first heard from her was sanvean and fell in love with her voice. I have the cd and is totally one her best works. It's just so calming and relaxing! All of the songs are outstanding. One thing i can say is that it is totally different from Dead Can Dance style so I guess if you enjoy more Dead Can Dance music, this is not for you. If I could give this more than five stars i would.

Never in my life have i heard such a terrible album. First of all, it's annoying. Second of all, it's boring. It's not trendy, not unique...i can't find anything good about it. I picked it for $10 and i want my money back. I was hyped up about getting into Blur, hearing top stuff about them, but this was just a horrible experience. I'm not picky with music either...i barely throw back anything, and i listen to a huge variety of music including alternative rock, punk, ambient, electronic music, acoustic music, electronic music, doom/drone metal, jazz, blues, funk, rap, JEEZ the list goes on and i hope to never hear Blur again.

This band has such an amazing sound, an absolutely refined sound incorporating their influences and histories in such a way I find it unmatched by any bands of the genre. Very few bands move me; this album did. I'm still pining for another album by The Good, The Bad & The Queen.

The Specials may not have been the first band to combine the lopsided danceability and dreamy warmth of Jamaican music with the raw aggression of punk, but they did just about single-handedly define the look, sound, and feel of the second wave ska scene. They nailed the aesthetic, sporting very mod clothing and very cool porkpie hats. They also founded the key label: 2 Tone Records, created by organist Jerry Dammers, is the quintessential English ska punk record company. More importantly than that, they sounded great. Their music was infectious, ferocious, and fun, full of raucous joy, violent intelligence, and social outrage.
