I love it! This is the only L. Vandross music that I have, but it is a great collection. I miss his beautiful voice and this brings back memories: those of hearing his songs on the radio on a regular basis and the memories of parents who are longer with us and how he expresses his love for them.

If you like Bonnie's Road Tested or Luck of the Draw, this is NOT the album for you. It's along the lines of Fundamental which is one of my least favorites. Hard to find a track to sing along with....

I bought this CD several years ago and a friend borrowed it - well you know how that goes! Anyway, I bought it again and I love this CD - a nice mixture of blues & rock - LOVE IT!

There is absolutely no way to fault the material on this collection of masterpieces but... if you are a blues fan, you will want the box set or even more. There is just no one like the Wolf. I love a broad range of blues, from the earliest country blues pickers to the West Side soul crew, but not a one of them can stand up to the Wolf. The primal energy in these tracks has never been matched by any other artist and never will be. The band is almost supernatural in how well they play together and read each other, and, as if having the best songs to choose from (many of them written by legendary Willie Dixon) weren't enough, the icing on the cake is one of the most influential, inimitable, nastiest, just indescribably awesome guitar players of all ... B.B. King-Live At The Regal *****
Recorded live at the Regal in Chicago in 1964 this went on to become what is now widely considered the all time greatest live blues album. This is rightly deserved as this is in fact the greatest live blues album of all time.
King's single note guitar lines are crisp as ever, and his vocals are beyond comparison. Aside from being obviously his best live recording, Live At The Regal is the best recording of King period. This is with out a doubt the best version of 'Sweet Little Angel' ever released. The essential version is more correct. 'Every Day I Have The Blues' and 'Its My Own Fault' are among some of the most inspired performances ever caught on tape. The albums closer 'Help The Poor' ... Read More:

When I first read about Eric Lindell in Relix, I wasn't too sure what to expect, but I ordered it from Amazon anyways. Since recieving the cd 2 months ago, I think I have listened to it almost every day. I'm so glad I decided to try it out. A few weeks later, I ordered his previous cd which was just as smooth sounding as the 2nd. Now I have both rotating in my truck everyday. I was thrilled when I saw that they were coming to a local bar. Seeing them live was such a treat. They sounded great live and were so laid back and social with the crowd. They took the time to speak and sign cd's and posters with everyone. It's so rare to find a group with such a unique sound of their own that perform just as good-if not better-live, and have such a great ... Read More:

Great CD. I bought it for my husband, he's always been a Fats fan and he loves it. All the artists did a wonderful job. Worth every penney.

TYPICAL 1980'S CD BOXSET.
This was your typical 1980's boxset, when CD technology was first emerging. It contains about 60% previously released material, and 40% unreleased material (many of which should have never been released). Personally, I was not a fan of these releases, but I bought them anyway because the CD selections at the time were very limited.
Since this is an 1980's boxset, the sound quality is poor. Well, it isn't horrible, but it isn't very good. The sound is a little flat and muffled. It certainly, is not very good by today's CD standards.
The sound quality on most CD's 1980's CD's was not very good. Sure they sounded better than cassette tapes (which were the most popular media of the time), but ... Read More:

This album is a near classic. It only missed it by a few songs. Akon has always had talent. Thats why i am so happy with this album, because his first album was terrible and i thought it served him no justice. All the song were produced terribly and the songs themselves were just garbage. But aftere hearing "I Wanna Love U" on the radio and i was instantly addicted to its sexy but ghetto feel. So when Konvicted dropped i ran and got during my lunch break and listened to it on the drive back. And i honestly liked just about every song. The only songs i really skipped over were "Never Took The Time" and "Once in A WHile". Other than those to tracks everything else was good. My favorite song is probably either "I Can't Wait" which is just a mid tempo love song with a nice vibe ... Read More:
