And so does my 5 yo, lol.
It really is a great CD, I even decided to play the game one more time after listening to it. You won't regret this purchase!

Riven has a couple of nice pieces and overall and nice ambient transport to get your mind onto other things. However, I have purchased all of the MYST series soundtracks and none of them hold a candle to the MYST 4 and MYST 5 soundtracks. Riven is worth it to complete your collection but do not miss the 4 and 5 soundtracks.

I have always loved soundtracks, the way that a composer uses music to set the mood. But I am still incredibly picky about which soundtracks I buy.
From the first episode of X I knew that I had to have this soundtrack. The essence of the whole series can be felt in this music.
Even if you have never seen an episode this music will move you.

Ever since I played Final Fantasy IX, I've wanted to buy a soundtrack of it. I thought of buying the Original Soundtrack, but it cost more than $25, and i didn't have that much money. So I decided on this CD and it was worth it. Most of the songs on this CD are even better than the originals, and I wasn't going to listen to most of the songs on the original so... It's worth every penny.

Immediately after I viewed the first few episodes in this series, and heard some of the extraordinary music, I immediately went on-line and purchased both O.S.T. 1 and 2. I'll start by saying that they're both exquisite, true masterpieces. This is by far two of the best anime soundtrack out there, heck, it's two of the best albums period. The music flows angelically and the vocals sway one into a dream of some fantastic world. And alos, both albums are over 58 minutes in length, so don't expect some quick, great opening and then having it end in a very short while (Ex: Berserk soundtrack). All I can say is that this series has evn harmoniously surpassed final fantasy's splendid music. Fan of anime or not, both the series itself and the soundtracks are ... Read More:

I absolutely love this CD. It has all the major classic final fantasy songs that Nobuo Uematsu has composed in an awesome orchestrated form. If you like the decked-out classical sounding versions of final fantasy music, then buy this CD, you won't be sorry. This is NOT for those who want the exact in game versions, the quality is much different.

I love the game San Andreas and the music thats in it. Unfortunately the soundtrack is missing way too many good songs from the game. I can list about 10 of them from the top of my head. If you want this soundtrack as a collectors item then cool, get it. If this is something your actually going to listen to because you enjoy the music on the game then I can NOT recomend this soundtrack due to the fact that its missing a lot of songs, and in this case some of the better songs.

I love the music from this anime series and I was so happy to find it available here in the U.S.A. For anyone who loves this anime, this CD is a must!

Nobuo Uematsu has been around for years beginning with the original Final Fantasy on the NES. With the advent of next generation consoles, his music has taken a step in a new direction. The soundtrack for Blue Dragon is Uematsu's first full composition since the release of FFIX ost and it is well worth it and completely beautiful.
Uematsu makes full use of synthesizers, electric guitars, pianos, and other orchestral instruments to deliver a wonderfully composed masterpiece. I imported the Japanese release of this soundtrack because I wasn't thinking that I would see a release of it locally. Thanks to Sumthing Else, who has been releasing multiple microsoft game studios soundtracks we get to buy the soundtrack for a cheap 16$ compared to the japanese release ... Read More:

I love this soundtrack. It is (as another reviewer said) sort of a mish-mash of styles, a few symphonic and orchestral, some electronic. The soundtrack as a whole may not be Joe Hisaishi's best (or most cohesive) work, but the main Nausicäa theme is my favorite of all his compositions, hauntingly beautiful. That song alone is worth the price of the disc--at least it was for me!
