I love Yoko Kanno. I love Cowboy Bebop. I love the Seatbelts.
The remixed versions of the songs are very listenable, I would carry this CD around to listen to as a pick-me-up. I actually think I have done that before.
"Tank!" Luke Vibert Mix is very poppy and jazzy and fun, I love this version so much. I brought this CD to a dance session in an acting class and this is what we danced to. Everyone loved it.
"Forever Broke" Fila Brazilia Mix is so beautiful! It's on a mix CD I made of all the Cowboy Bebop songs because it's good for chilling/meditation, dance, study, everything.
"Piano Black" was given a little more depth.
Overall, it's a very listenable CD. If you're a diehard fan of Cowboy Bebop, you ... Read More:

In order to fully appreciate what this soundtrack has to offer, you have to play the game cause otherwise you wouldn't know what to make of the themes. The music in this game is very catchy. The vocalist in the soundtrack are kind of an odd bunch. There is the wonderful female singers who sing the hymns and introduction song "Expressive Hill". There is some songs that share the whisper-like singing that spells out some letters and ends with a "yes". For example, the song "Psycho Drive" and "A Requiem's Melody" has a female singing the lyrics, "A R T N E N I C YES!" It was a poor attempt at spelling Ar Tonelico. However, there are times where the "whisper-singing" does fit in at its in the song, "Whisper." There is the random rapping in one ... Read More:

One of the best soundtracks ever. And when I say that I mean videogame or movie or anything else you can think of. If you haven't played the game then you don't know what you're missing. (It may be impossible to find by now.) This soundtrack is a must have either way if you're a fan of epic, hard hitting music.

Most people who are checking out these reviews have probably heard the soundtrack already, whether through playing the game or on compact disc (or perhaps both). While a lot has been said already and there's probably nothing profoundly great that I could add, I'd still like to give my two cents.
The score for this game is truly magnificent. Despite the fact that it's an OST it sounds as organic as many movie soundtracks, especially the classical pieces. "Dance of Pales," which has been mentioned at least a few times in other reviews, is an alluring and somewhat catchy piano piece that sounds like it would fit snugly in a ballet or in a ballroom dance. "Wood Carving Partita" has more of a Baroque feel because of the rather embellishing ... Read More:

I honestly don't know where to begin! If you own the series of Ace Combat and love the experience of the game system Flight Simulation then more than likely you enjoy the music at the moments in the game that make you feel as if you are truly living the Simulation. Likewise, if this is your son or daughter that loves playing this Simulation until wee hours of the morning, then I say with pretty good certainity that they would like, if not love this small part of the game. Buy them this CD and watch them truly appreciate the rarity of this Music. Either way the music is dramatic, exciting and thrilling. I might be biased to instramentals, but again, I think this is a great companion to owning the Ace Combat Series Simulations. I truly hope this helps.
