This CD makes NICKELBACK famous - worldwide. And i can only agree with other customers. It's still the best! The Real Thing - because of tracks like "HOW YOU REMIND ME" and my all-time favourite "TOO BAD". It hits you like a hammer! That are burners! Because of that 4* - The rest is trash!
All other albums haven't got a soul - every single repeats itself. In a very few moments Chad can get a hit (for example only in corporation WITH SANTANA "INTO THE NIGHT" 2007). But that's it! I LIKE NICKELBACK VERY MUCH, but every artist had TOP CLASS times - now (in 2008) it's going down... Mainstream - making money as much as you can...
WHEN YOU LIKE NICKELBACK AT IT'S BEST - TAKE THIS ONE... (from 2001). This album contains the ... Read More:

I bought this CD for a friend. He only knew of one song on the disc. After listening to the entire album, he really likes it a lot. The packaging and speedy arrival was excellent for me
Release Date April 06, 2004
i will admit it. this was my first modest mouse cd. i had heard "float on" on the radio, or something and liked the name of the band, so i figured "why not?" the art was interesting, there was a solid single in circulation, i had heard good things...
i popped in the disc, listened to it a couple of times. i liked the first couple of tracks. especially float on [to this day, its still a great song.] all the way up to the track "bury me with it" [which is actually an amazing song.]
but all in all...i didnt actually like the cd. nothing really struck my interest.
anyway, that was then.
i believe this came out around 2004. after coming back to it a few times, here we are in 2008, and i am madly in love with modest mouse. i have slowly been ... Read More:

Listening to this soundtrack is blast from the past. Quentin Tarantino out did himself with the slections he chose for this movie and cd. How many cd are out there with the Smiths (baby it you) This CD Rocks!
Release Date July 29, 2008
It's a good, honest record that ROCKS! Much like System of a Down records, you would either love it or hate - no middle ground. At times it does sound like SYstem because it has the same rhythm section as SOAD, but otherwise, it's really nice and refreshing. Buy it and play LOUD!

I've been listening to this album a lot lately and it's settling in -- in a really good way. It's nowhere near the ambition or energy of Ghost is Born, but it feels like a natural progression, and it's just a really good album. And I still call Wilco America's greatest living rock band.

I've been waiting for this album for quite a while and was THRILLED to get my hands on it. Unfortunately, two of the songs on the cd are little-changed remakes from the UH-OH album and although it was nice to hear Regina get a momentary vocal on Tell The Girl You're Sorry, it was much less than she gets when the band plays live. "Kelly Rippa" may be fun on first listen but it gets old in a hurry. The actual new music however, shines. Fred warns us a bit on the recent DVD that Griff really likes the heavy guitar sound and it is stronger here than on many of their other releases. The band's core remains solid and the largely unexplained exit of Vance from the roster doesn't show any sign of hurting the band either creatively or musically.

This is 10 Years' fourth album, technically. First two aren't that well known at all...and they changed lead singers after their first album. Anyways, I was very excited when I heard about this album. I have been a fan of 10 Years for a long time. The first time I listened through this album, I absolutely loved it and I still love it. I love the subject matter, music, and, of course, the vocals of Jesse Hasek.
The album is diverse enough sound-wise to keep me interested the entire time through. In my eyes, there is only one weak track on the album and that's "Picture Perfect." Other than that, the album is solid. As much as I love this album, however, I think "The Autumn Effect" is much, much better overall.
The main problem with this album is that the song ... Read More:

Very experimental album indeed. Realesed at the height of Psychedelia in 1967 this album never was really that popular because it was too "out there" but although that this album has reamained a classic. Some key tracks on here are, "run run run", "heroin", "venus in furs", "all tommorows parties", and more. Great album for anyone who craves for experimental psychedelic music, trust me if you like piper at the gates of dawn you'll like this album.
