First of all, thank you VERY MUCH to the reviewer(s) that mentioned the disparity between the U.S. and European releases. Having this in mind, I went to the Amazon UK website and purchased this CD there. It cost more once you converted over to U.S. dollars, but you get both CDs with the complete 19 tracks. Very helpful information!!

As I read on here, the Bosendorfer sounds different than what I'm used to, but it WAS the way she sounded back then on her recordings. While I've heard most if not all of these versions at one point over my long Tori following, this compilation is very welcome indeed. Like the title says Elton John always sings a good song. I can't think of any song that he has sung that has been a dud. He is one of a kind and truly a genius of his time. He sings with great passion and his music is good to listen to when you are feeling up or down. Don't get me wrong, he is not my favourite musican but one that always comes up with a hit. Greatest hits album? Why not take it through to 2008 because the hits just keep coming. Knowing what songs is on the CD helped me want to buy it because each one holds a special place in my heart for different reasons. Ray has a very interesting quality in his voice which ads a dimenmsion to almost any lyric. The Lyrics are very thought provoking making this a good purchase.

I know I'm a bit behind buying this album now when its been out for a few years, but I own the two newest albums and LOVE them. I have to say that this album did not disappoint me one bit. I think I like it even more than his most recent albums. The songs are so romantic and sexy. If you are a Michael Buble fan and don't have this one yet, do yourself a big favor and buy it!

This album will be recorded as a classic in music history. Love Norah's airy and sultry sound...such relaxing music. I can listen to her music over and over again. A new emerging singer-songwriter I recently discovered reminds me a little of Norah Jones with a little Fiona Apple tossed in; Arrica Rose. Her latest CD La La Lost is her best to date.

This is the first product that i bought off amazon. I was very pleased that i was able to get a CD for 8 bucks and it was in perfect condition. Just like if i would have bought it out of Wal-Mart or any other store that sells CDs.

When I thought about buying this album, I was torn between it and the soundtrack from the movie "Once". I decided to get this because I felt like it would have more of an album feel. That it does. Listening to this album is like following the songwriters through a cohesive story of the character they created. Every song is passionate/wonderful/beautiful. Especially the Marketa Irglova instrumental(s). The art in the liner notes is pretty cool, too.

I love Loreena McKennit and here with An Ancient Muse I love her even more! She has such strength and purpose and her passion comes through clearly in all of her songs. Even the instrumentals are extremely moving. I never grow tired of Loreena and I hope she keeps on going strong!
