Rhythm & Romance puts you in the mood for relaxing, revitalizing, and rewinding after a long day. It's jazzy and fun. I use it for dinner music, happy hour grazing, brunch, or just listening. This is a great album for Kenny G fans because it combines a latin style with modern jazz and gives you a good feeling about music.

My husband I recently bought tickets for his concert at Madison Square Garden, and I was eager to get in the "Neil Diamond mood," so I decided on this 2 cd set (we have Hot August Night on cd, and the rest on old cassette tapes, but I really wanted original recordings). I have loved his music for a long time, and this 2 cd set was an absolutely perfect collection for me. All of his well-known popular songs are the original recordings, and my 7 year old daughter is now singing along in the car. Couldn't have asked for a better Neil Diamond collection!!

My girlfriend heard Tristan on the radio as asked me to pick up the album. After listening through the album a couple of times it reminded me a lot of Sarah McLachlan, Surfacing.
She has an angelic voice with light, poppy beats. Good to listen to when your studying or want some soft background music.

I bought the original version in '94 and have made this part of my permanent often-listened collection. This "is" by far, one of the very best produced albums in music history. Sarah made Marchand's job easy by writing such superior music. This is an etherealistly-organized, mayhemic venture of the mind, heart and soul of Ms. McLachlan. I have never heard a song like Fear that brings to you the subtle realization of personal ownership in overcoming a tragedy in a relationship. The song Fumbling is an epic endeavor that offers a fantastic sense of personal accomplishment. And the solo version of Possession takes you to yet another place that many of us never get to experience, and if you ever have, you are definitely on cue when what she has to deliver. ... Read More:

Let me start off by saying that I'm a huge Christina fan. I think she's an incredibly talented young lady with a powerhouse voice. However, the theme of this album is suppose to be a tribute to traditional jazz and blues music from the 20's, 30's, and 40's. Christina has openly said that she wanted this album to reflect on old jazz music. However, the album only achieves this on 2 or 3 tracks. "Candyman" and "I Got Trouble" sound like authentic jazz tunes that could've been recorded in the 1940's. "Nasty Naughty Boy" is a sultry, seductive song that sounds like it's straight out of a 1920's burlesque strip show. The rest of the album is filled with up-tempo pop tracks (Slow Down Baby, Aint No Other Man), sappy love songs (Save Me From Myself, The Right Man), ... Read More:

I have treasured this album since it was first released. It captures Joni Mitchell's passionate vision as an artist. I appreciate the clarity of music, lyrics, and intention.

Arguably the least flawed of her albums, Brightman's "Time To Say Goodbye" is a collection of songs (new and classic standards) which could argue were written exclusively for her. Flawless duets galore and high notes that bring tears to listeners, her powerful voice generates more emotion with its dramatic storytelling than any film actress alive could do with the same material, using voice and facial emotion. A must have for fans, and those interested in La Divina for the 1980s and beyond.

This is my first Bon Jovi album that I bought. I've always been a fan of the band ever since I first heard "Livin On A Prayer" when I was really young. I liked their sound and even though it's changed a bit since their hits in the 80's it's still a welcome return from one of my favorite bands. Some have called this album "Bon Jovi goes country." While not entirely true, there is some country aspects to this album such as the duet with LeAnn Rimes and a collaboration with Big And Rich. My favorite song is the single "(You Want To) Make A Memory." It was one of my favorite singles of 2007! Bon Jovi had a lot to prove with this album and I would definately reccomend it to Bon Jovi fans old and new. I look forward to buying more music from this band!

I have always listened attentively whenever a selection by this very talented musican came over the radio; however, it wasn't until I heard Cassidy's redition of Paul Simon's "Kathy's Song" on a folk music station that I finally bought a the CD that included that song. Cassidy's interpretation of a wide range of genres on this CD---from Irish folk ballad to pop to blues---is truly phenomenal and her delivery of all of them is as smooth as silk. That cancer took her young life is truly tragic, but her memory and angelic voice lives on in these beautiful songs.
