Metallica is trying to be everything to all people and again, failing at everything. Anyone that claims this is anything like the old metallica need to go back and listen to the old suff again. Metallica died with Cliff Burton and they just forgot to bury the rest of the band. They've been doing nothing but stinking up the place ever since.

Probably this CD got labeled with the Parental advisory sticker is because of the songs so Hott & sugar where the music may be a little bit rough for some people. All though there are some language in tracks 11 & the title song. However, don't let some of the language and sexual content discourage you from buying this CD. IF the members at the common [...] would probably put this CD at about 13 to 15 and up so you probably don't want your really young kids to listen to this. However if you are looking for one of those CD's that seem to bend several genres of music, buy this one.

When I heard that Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders were releasing a new album I was excited.Bought it and am so happy I did...I always respected Chrissie and appreciated all the great rock she has given through the years. This album is filled with the traditional sound of Chrissie throughout. The mid-tempo rockers and slower Chrissie style ballads...capturing the old style Pretenders with a modern twist. If you are a Chrissie Hynde/Pretenders fan, there is no reason not to buy this one.It rocks...My personal faves are Boots of Chinese Plastic,The Nothing Maker,Don't Cut Your Hair,Love's A Mystery,The Last Ride,Rosalee and Break Up The Concrete.Pretty much every song.Just to tell you how rich an album this is...Rock on Chrissie...Glad you are back...

I come from the side of fans that think 2005's Don't Believe the Truth was very good, and more the return to form. It was like a stepping stone up to this album. I think it's definitely their best album since (What's the Story) Morning Glory. I think it's funny that the best "critical" review's complaint is that it's not like the old stuff. its so ridiculous, stupid and unfair to expect music like the old types. This is a great album, and a bit of a new direction. The first 5 songs are killer, also Gem's To Be Where There's Life is great. I think the 2nd half isn't as good, but it's still awesome. it's solid. Soldier On works perfectly as a closer. So i suggest buying the album, not just a couple songs, get the album. it works better as a whole.

In my lifetime I'd like world peace. I'd also like the Cubs to win the World Series. As long as I'm making a list of things that will never happen, I'll close with wishing for Todd to check his ego at the door and let someone else mix his music. Arena is the absolute worst example to date of his penchant for burying lead vocals and sometimes his lead guitar work. Over the course of his production career he's championed that approach on any number of releases and while I've learned to expect it and deal with it, I wasn't ready for this. By all but burying his lead vocal and at the same time drowning it in a murk of reverb as to make it impossible to decipher the lyrical message, Rundgren has effectively defused the power of the song. Who cares? Todd must ... Read More:

I've been a disterbed fan from their first cd. Prayer and stricken were good from their other cds, but the rest was nothing special. This new CD Has elevated Disterbed to their music potential. It seems they found a nitch that they should have been in for a long time.
This is one to get.
NOT! In fact this album is horribly disappointing... I just wanted to get your attention.
For a long time I was a hater and when Subliminal Verses came out, Duality.. that was sweet. I went back got the old albums. Honestly, I can say I was wrong about them to a point... however, I still find the entirety of any of their albums too chaotic to traverse. Not because their BRUTAL!!!11...OMFG??? Yeah, they're messy, sloppy, disjointed... not the musicianship, but the progression.. in song and from song to song.
And the problem persists, just worse. Waiting for this I heard Psychosocial, meh. Then I heard All Hope Is Gone, mmm.. Iowalicious. I was getting excited. Then I borrow it from my friend.... ZZZZZZZZ.....hmmmm...sorry... it.just..feels..so..*yawn*... ... Read More:

I still remember when their self titled album came out. That one to me was a great album. Although there were some weaker songs towards the end, they were still pretty good. I must admit I never gave Time bomb or 15 their proper listens. Something I regret with Time bomb. After listening to them again recently I wish I have given Time bomb more of a listen. I have to say that I was disappointed in 15. It seemed to go in a softer direction, and the songwritting wasn't as strong, although I did like the little bit of experamenting they did. That leads me to this one.
In some ways I'm impressed and others not so much. It kind of has a same old buckcherry sound; which felt a bit stale at first. After more listens this didn't bother me anymore. Buckcherry hasn't been a band ... Read More:

Best album by ACDC I loved Bon Scott but Brian Johnson is a one in a million replacement. Its so rare for lightning to strike twice for a group after a lead singer goes but here it did. 5 stars best of the best!!!!!!
