This is a great CD with all of Stevie's solid hits, with the exception of "Isn't She Lovely". This was the only disappointment for me. Every other song is a step in the musical history of this great artist.

Can't say enough for this cd; just love it - alot of great songs - just love My Girl!! Great to listen to while I do the treadmill thing each morning - love the replay button on my remote stereo system. Well worth the money and would recommend highly!

Isn't funny that my favorite track on cd 1, I had never heard of before?
"You" speaks to my spirit, and touches me emotionally. It is my favorite, and I even found the lyrics so I can read and sing along while listening. I play this track over and over. It makes me feel like I am in the church about to catch the spirit. It is so uplifting, Marvin's interpretation. There is a Temptation feel to this song, a David Ruffinish sound.

I feel that on cd one, Marvin was in the process of evolving into his signature sound. I feel that cd 2 is where he evolved and where he established his true voice. These songs I feel are spiritually based, in that they touch the spirit.

How can anyone love this wretched woman? She sings the songs that make the whole world herl. Oh, and why do you crazy people call her a legend? She is no legend. Hahahahahahahahaha! I love crazy people who gave this woman five stars, and I laugh at them. I also love sitting at my computer and bashing this woman. It turns me on. I'm not crazy when I give this woman one star, and I know who I am.

This Cd is one of the very worst on record. This Cd has the songs that make the whole world herl. The covers of the classics like the ones by the beatles are the stupidest things this woman has ever done. Also, the original material she has on this album was one of the stupidest. Pure Disco has twenty-one great tracks on it that anyone from the days of disco will remember fondly! This is the music people heard in the clubs as they danced their cares away on many a Saturday night. The music on this CD is excellent; and the quality of the sound is also very good. The artwork is great!

The Village People start things off big with their smash disco hit entitled "Y.M.C.A." "Y.M.C.A." has an awesome beat and it just might even make your kids want to dance to it! "Y.M.C.A." is classic disco and a great choice to start off this album. Abba's "Dancing Queen" is yet another great number from the golden days of disco; it may have a somewhat slower beat than other songs do but it still is great dancing music. this album was recorded in the early 1970's easily Stevie's most creative period. All of the albums from this point in time are just superb, starting with Music Of My Mind, this one and Inner Visions, every one gets five stars, no boudt a doubt it. Every song a winner.
