I've been a fan of michael franti since his disposable heroes days. Actually the first time I saw him was before their album dropped. He opened up (by himself) for living colour at the warfield in s.f.. He was a force to be reckoned with and quickly got the crowd behind him. Impressive because a lot of people didn't know who he was and also he was basically doing a poetry slam reciting "television the drug/and socio-genetic experiment". My next experience was at a disposable heroes of hiphoprisy show that I ended up at by default because the nirvana show had sold out. They didn't disappoint probably one the top ten shows that i've been to.

I have this CD and a few others. Every now and then I like to check for new releases. What I would like to know is WHERE ARE THE TRACK SAMPLES???!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?? I listen to songs before I decide to buy, so if you want to sell a CD, then put them back.

Kardinal Offishall is a cat that is kind of sporadic with the releases but, once he drops, he usually comes with some pretty solid material. That was before he linked up with the over-hyped, over-saturated, pop sensation (?)/cheesy tune machine known as Akon. I'm a fan of Kardi's, but the first thing that jumped in my head when I saw he was rolling with Akon was "lower your expectations, he's associating with a wack producer." That being said, Not 4 Sale isn't necessarily a bad album. Sure, there's a ton of filler and some really cheesy attempts at club bangers. It's obvious he set his sights on chart positions. The rest of the songs are 4/5. The album is a solid effort by Matisyahu and his band. These guys transcend the so-called cultural barriers and just rock the house. If you like or have started to discover Matisyahu, this is a must-have ( and so is the Live at Stubbs CD ). I would love to watch him live-

This is an awesome CD! There are songs that I would like to have on the CD, but the ones that are here, really are some of UB40's best! I'm so happy that I bought this CD. It's great for road trips, pool parties, listening while working or for a quick drive to the grocery store! UB40 Rocks!
