This will be a short review, because I am speechless. These two are spectacular. As a Jazz lover and amateur guitarist, I appreciate virtuosity, originality and style, and these two have them in spades. Did I mention passion, huge passion but under perfect control?

Going to see them in a few weeks, counting the days.

As a real old fan of Sepultura this record, to me, is Soulfly's best record. As a fan of music I love to see bands grow and that is exactly what they have done. Since Marc Rizzo joined the band the records have become more soulful, intense, and metal. Conquer is not only their best release but their most technical without losing their roots in making the crowd move. I would highly suggest this record to metal heads that love Arise and Dark Ages because of the soulfulness and technicality. You can tell they spent some time on theses songs compared to Cavalera Conspiracy. Just buy it you'll love it.

To get an overview of the music Steve Winwood's been involved with, you have to look at the bands he's been in and the influence they've had.

That's all captured here in an outstanding collection of songs. I think you could debate what to add and what to leave out, but you can't argue that Winwood is an outstanding musician who has been quenching our musical thirsts for years.

Sergio and Will.I.Am back at it again. This album has a much stronger Brazilian backdrop than Timeless did; and the organization, content and structure of the album are a little more mature. Featured artists such as Natalie Cole, Herb Alpert, and Ledisi show the maturity and growth in assembly and production. The album is one that can definitely be played through with continuity and will be overly enjoyed. I would give the album 4 Stars. In analyzing my rating, please be aware that I am disposed to comparing this album with Timeless and I am just a bigger fan of Timeless.

Este proyecto, liderizado por el mega-productor Gustavo Santaolalla, sale a la venta en USA varios meses despues de haber visto la luz del dia. La espera valio la pena, por cuanto la nueva edicion contiene tres temas mas que el original. El ensamble Argentino-Uruguayo sigue revetando la liga con su mezcla exquisita de ElectroTango que tanta falta nos hace: bandoneones se intercambian con baterias, bajos y voces. Juan Subira, Gustavo Cerati, Julieta Venegas, Elvis Costello y Nelly Furtado destacan entra los vocalistas que le dan a este album un toque un tanto diferente a los anteriores.

Altamente recomendable para los fanaticos del genero, asi como seguidores del chillout, lounge y todo el material genial que sale del coco de Gustavo Santaolalla.

Evolution is what progress is all about, and CSS goes from Brazilian punk sung in sexy slang to electronic, multilayered masterpieces on their second seminal record. They may be tired of being sexy, but there's no signs of lethargy on Donkey, an album that lands Sao Paolo and SubPop on the forefront, as they should be.

Actually, there are a few reasons I'm writing this review. Yes, you should definitely buy this album now. But don't be fooled by the chatty reviewer from Conroe, Texas. First, CSS is not Metric. I love both bands but to say that CSS has "an uncanny resemblance" to Metric robs the former of its completely original style and trailblazing personality.

Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66's hits are pretty much included in this CD. What a wonderful beat and what memories. I highly recommend this CD to anyone wanting a good selection of his early hits. I found all the ones I loved on this CD plus a couple of others that were a joy to discover.

Desde que Juanes estaba con Equimosis he seguido su carrera musical y creo que este disco es su mejor producto. Hay madurez y contenido social en sus letras, los ritmos son contagiosos, y estoy en desacuerdo con la persona que califica como repetitivo el sonido de este trabajo discografico. Es el mejor CD de musica en el ano 2007
Ya voy por el tercer CD que compro pues los otros dos terminaron en las carteras de los amigos de lo ajeno.
