This is a pretty decent warmup cd, it will help get your voice ready to go somewhat for when you want to sing some actual songs. The major parts of the cd I disagree with however is that she gives some bad advice, and sometimes doesn't give advice at all when it's needed.

She doesn't properly explain what you need to do in order to hit the higher notes in the warmups, and she also tells you on numerous occasions that you need to essentially tense up your stomach in order to hit some of the warmups. This is bad advice as singing should come naturally and you should be in a relaxed state.

Other than this it is a pretty decent cd.

America, Why I Love Her

I still have this CD in my car since I purchased it. I've enjoyed it so much. In the songs, you can hear John Wayne's love for this country. I agree with him that America is the greatest country on earth. There are some songs which I know will offend people of today. One song is called the "Hyphen". The message is that anyone who uses it (African-American for an example) is a divided individual. Torn loyalties between countries. Yet, if you love and stand up for this country - call yourself an "American" and leave it at that.

For those who have seen, enjoy and know what John Wayne stood for - will enjoy this.

Jammin' in New York

George Carlin. I can't believe I've gone this long without listening to his material. Then again, I'm only 18. "Jammin' In New York" is great, funny, hilarious. I especially love his take on flying ("`Put the mask over your face and breath deeply'. Sure, I have no problem with that. I always breathe normally when I'm in a six-hundred mile an hour uncontrolled vertical dive") and experiences that bring us together ("You ever been talking to yourself and someone comes into the room and you have to make believe you were singing?"). It's coarse and it's fun.

For me, this is excellent. When I try to learn intervals on my own, Play them on the piano, I know from the feel what the interval is. Hearing it on tape, I have to actually hear it. And this goes much further than just hearing the interval. Excellent training for anyone interested in music.

I have listened to the The Law of Attraction & Ask and It Is Given twice. It is very uplifting and spiritual. I believe it to be true. I am trying to change my thoughts to reflect what Abraham and Ester and speaking about.

It is starting to work.

I first heard Meredith Andrews live at a concert she was performing with Aaron Shust and Brandon Heath. As amazing as they were, I felt she really was unbelievable. I had never heard of her, but her music, voice, and heart for God was so evident.

I purchased this CD and could not believe how many great songs are on here. My favorites are You're Not Alone, The River, and You Invite Me In, although they all are very good. She wrote or co-wrote every one of them.

My local station is not playing her music yet, so at a live broadcast I gave them my copy to listen to, then ordered another for me. I've never been so impressed with a new artist as this one. I can't wait for her next CD.

This American Life: Lies Sissies & Fiascoes

I found this to be my favorite of the series. I like the story of Ira speaking of his break-up (getting over it) with her girlfriend. I could totally identify with "just friends" and understood exactly what he was saying.I laughed and was completely engrossed with what each story. I really like the story of the guy going to different houses giving interviews to the mentally challenged. This CD is worth getting. Oh if your a fan of David Sedaris then you will love his story on this series.

A voice so pure, effortless and flawless. What a gift - this voice.

Brightman turns every song into a seductive love song. She could gargle mouthwash and seduce me. Definitely a CD for cosmopolitan lovers.
