I got this cd to play in my son's preschool class. All the kids learned one or two of the songs (the teacher had them practice). There are some new very catchy songs and some old favorites (like Monster Mash). I like the cd because it has a very wide age appropriate range.

It's that time of year when you can listen to this one late at night under a full moon, the dead leaves scraping across the road and swirling in the yard in the cool yet still somewhat warm breeze. If you are scary and you know it is an absolute favorite and they know the original by heart, and to hear this song with scary creatures just cracks them up. Yes, do not let you children listen to this alone, sing with them and explain the songs, and enjoy and laugh!!

If it is the original music from the Masters that you are looking for, then this is not it for you. The style is bland and I wished that it had kick, as the original interpretations do. I would not suggest this. I wished that I had read reviews before purchasing this.

Considering the wonderfully fresh and innovative interpretations of traditional Christmas music that the Techno-Classical New Age ensemble Mannheim Steamroller has put out in the past couple of decades, one would think that the band's interpretation of macabre Halloween ditties would be diabolically delicious, a fresh on which lovers of Halloween could happily feast. Wow. Wow. Wow. I am Enedelia's 13 year old daughter. I was stupid enough not to get this album as my first Nox Arcana CD. I was lucky to get the remastered version of this CD. It sounds stunning! I can't tell you how impressed I was by this album. This whole album reminded me somewhat of the story of Dark Shadows. From the first few seconds of the first track, I felt in a completely different realm.

Legend- The sound of wind starts this piece. Some low pitched gentle and elegant strings then enter.
