I should start off by saying I've never been the biggest NIN fan. I've heard a decent amount of their music, and I've always liked them but they just never stuck with me. With Teeth seemed a bit like the sellout point to me, and I didn't pay attention to them for awhile. When I heard The Slip was free on their site, I eagerly downloaded it, and I've gotta say it's absolutely AMAZING! With the exception of Corona Radiata (which I'm sure will grow on me soon), there is not a dull moment with The Slip, and I plan to order Ghosts I-IV ASAFP.

Update: I forgot how depressing NIN is. Listening to it makes me feel like bashing my skull in, but it's such amazing music that I CAN'T TURN IT OFF! Also, With Teeth doesn't seem as bad now.

this is quickly becoming my favorite NIN album. i can listen to the entire double disc album on a loop and not get tired of it. the fact that there are no lyrics, keeps it fresh for me. to me Reznor always excelled at composing music and this puts that right out there w/o the lyrics to overshadow it.

Admittedly I am more a fan of the sound's NIN cultivated post-Broken, but it is near impossible to deny PHM's influence and simple solidness. Reznor delivers the undeniable pop-industrial masterwork via ten air-tight, thoughtfully produced tracks with no filler and a simple desire to merge innovation and catchiness with ease.

A lot of people seem to bash a review titled "A Kid's Review," so I'm going to start off by saying that I am 14 years old, not 13 or under, and I don't consider myself an expert on Nine Inch Nails or on music in general. I just like putting my opinion out there to help people make informed decisions about the music they buy.

Now, I think it's generally pointless to pigeonhole an album as "the best album ever." It does a disservice to all the other great albums out there, just as it seriously narrows your or anyone's taste in music. On a similar note, an album doesn't have to be totally obscure for you to like it. Don't tell me this is pop. No other main release NIN album has stuck me the way this one has. I won't speak for the mix albums. >,> It feels like listening to this album that every song on both CD's save the transition pieces are worthy of topping the charts. This isn't exactly made for radio either though. It breaks typical forms in favor of the progressive. Add to that Reznor sings with incredible energy. His latest radio play just seems simple in comparison without the climax found here.

I liked this DVD, especially the bonus features which are some videos I really like.

I let my friend borrow the DVD, he's got it right now and asked if he could hold onto it longer, which I granted.

I want to get all the NIN DVD's I can get my hands on and I have no regrets about buying this one, just make sure you dont get a DVD that say's Blu-Ray unless you have a Blu-Ray player.

I liked the Live performance of Hurt it's just Trent and the keyboard for most of the song.

This is not music, its just a bunch of talking, ranting, noise, ect...you get the picture. I change the station on the radio every time Serj's or SOAD's complete and utter garbage comes on. One of the lamest excuse for music in the history of rock.
