It's fantastic. I orginially had this recording years ago on a 33rpm record, and like a fool got rid of it. I got it as a replacement on a CD format and its the way I always remembered it.

This is one of the best, if not the best recorded concert out there. If you can find a SACD or LP copy if this, it is worth buying a record player or SACD player JUST FOR THIS. I'm not even kidding. However, the CD is still awesome. Just make sure if you upload it to your computer, do it lossless. This was recorded using the best mics out there with the audience recored also. Because of this, you hear some crowd noise with an absolutely "you are there" feeling. It's hard to explain, but there is a lot of air in this recording. It's like they recorded the whole atmosphere of the concert hall. I can't recommend this enough.

This was a pretty good purchase for me. I really love live songs and the crowds really add more to the songs and it just sounds better to me.

Kenny really has changed since first coming to country but this is a good collection of songs that he has done in the past. Uncle Kracker even makes an appearence in the When the Sun Goes Down segment and that got the crowd really loud after the introduction of him. Pretty good LIVE cd but not as good as Garth Brook's LIVE cd's, still great though.

Pretty good cd to pick up. If yall like LIVE cd's or songs Kenny has done in the past then I recommend on picking this one up.

Johnny Cash is undoubtedly as essential to American music as Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, and Hank Williams. His contributions are admired by both country aficionados and rockers alike. On none of his releases is the reason why as apparent as with his "Live At San Quentin" release.

Here, we're treated to rousing renditions of early Cash classics "Big River," "I Still Miss Somone," and "I Walk The Line" alongside revamped versions of "Folsom Prison Blues," "Ring Of Fire," and "Wreck Of The Old 97." i too, have seen Joe Ely many, many times in concert, as he is my absolute favorite performer, and he is never better than when he and Joel are together!!!!! i bought this CD as soon as it was available, and although i have almost ALL of Joe Ely's music, this has to be my favorite------this cd captures all the passion, heat and fire that Joe & Joel bring to a hot, Texas honkytonk-----it doesn't get much better than this!!!!!---a great time was had by all!1
