i remember seeing this when it first came out .the MTV unplugged series was definitely an armature show till natalie and the maniacs appeared and i never even heard of them the track- because the night became an instant hit you can still hear it on radios stations almost daily (my other favorite was -like the weather )all the tracks were great and the band and natalie were on point this show put the unplugged series on the map and set the standards high it was also visually pleasing to watch but they didnt put it on DVD my other favorite was the nirvana episode no DVD either
Release Date October 13, 1998
I'll just give it five stars. The fact it's also really well released with an amazing booklet just makes it vital. Dylan at full command of his craft. If you haven't got it... get it!
Release Date October 25, 1990
Like most of his other live work "Before the Flood" lacks the light and shade of the studio albums - everything is at one volume (loud) and flatly sung. The performances of The Band, however, are excellent and give this album the lift it needs. If you want to hear a better Dylan live album then you might want consider "Hard Rain", which came out a few years later.
Release Date October 25, 1990
The music brought me back to when I was young , in the 1960s. What a great selection from their concert in Central Park! I wanted this disc because I saw "The 69th Street Bridge" song sung by Art Garfunkel on U-Tube. All the magic of this duo is here on this CD. Their voices are still "clear and young", not like the albums they put out later in their career. If you want a trip down memory lane, get this CD.

If you needed any proof other than Blood on the Tracks that Bob was going through a semi-artistic revival during 1975, this album should be your evidence. I wasn't around in 1975, but if I was, I would've definitely caught one of these shows, because this is an awesome album. Even with a few snippets everyone could do without (a reggae-country version of "It Ain't Me Babe," a synthtastic "Just Like a Woman," a sappy "Mama, You've Been on My Mind" and an even sappier "The Water is Wide"), it's still really, really good. In fact, it's my pick for Bob's best live album. It totally rocks, maybe even harder than the electric half of Live 1966 did. And he sounds angrier than he ever has. You thought he was upset on the studio take on "It's a Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall" ... Read More:

Well, if you don't have this do yourself a favour and buy it. The package is great with great photos from the show.
As for Dylan, he is in high spirits and most possibly stoned out of his mind as he laughs, shares jokes, forgets lyrics...
He is also delivering all songs passionately making this one concert a very special indeed. A mere three months later he was recording Bringing It All Back Home and by doing so he was also a new Dylan.

If you like Neil, this is one of his best, hands down. Star Wars roadies, huge speaker setups, classic songs both acoustic and electric. Probably the pinnacle of Rock & Roll. Buy this immediately if your a Neil fan. 5 STARS!!
Release Date October 25, 1990
Yes, it is a shame they found they needed to edit out some material. But if anything, they could of knocked out 'Tonights the night'... never did like that song and I always thought the track was a let down to the album ending. Otherwise a brilliant live compilation and recording. Actually always liked Neil Young but for some reason Live Rust was the only Neil Young album I ever bought, but probably among my 10 favorites and most listened to of all time.
Release Date August 24, 1993
I came across this by accident while searching for another band. Twenty nine tracks, and at least 27 are brilliant. Everyone in my family loves this album. What a lineup of stars! (and NO kid rock, no rappers!) Tastefully Done!

A little over 10 years after his groundbreaking live album "Live Rust" Young put out this 2 CD live set called "Weld" recorded on the "Ragged Glory" tour. The previous album "Freedom" was a bit of a comeback for Neil. After spending a good part of the 80's experimenting with electronic music, country, rockabilly, blues and just about anything else you could name, his album sales had taken a rather big plunge and radio was all but ignoring him. "Freedom" would feature a song that would bring Young back onto rock radio in a big way with the aptly titled "Rockin In The Free World". Young was back to playing big venues in front of loud raucous fans and would soon be given the title of "godfather of grunge" to go along with all of his other incarnations. "Weld" is a great live album and although not ... Read More:
