Ordered for my daughter, I REALLY enjoyed the upbeat songs and positive lyrics.... I found myself singing along with my daughter! Cd was ordered with ease and was sent IMMEDIATELY to our home. We have been enjoying it every since!

I read about this film and the beautiful music that created the foundation of the plot. I watched the film twice and couldn't get the songs out of my head! I had to buy the soundtrack, and I have really enjoyed the songs, particularly those by Glen. Such talented songwriters, with beautiful harmonies, and so much emotion. If you like folk or singer/songwriter music, you will love this album.

This a a good CD. Talented singers and the great songs. But these certainly are not the originals, but they do not really pretend to be.

Indeed , this second installement of Nolan's Batman movies has a soundtrack much stronger and intenser then Batman Begins from a few years ago . I listened to the track samples on the official site , those are way too short to get an idea of how good Zimmer and Newton composed this fine piece of music . This is not background music while you're eating dinner , this is a cd filled with emotions and I even use some tracks like "I thought my jokes were bad" while I'm running to keep me going , otherwise in the car when I turn up the volume I relive some of the scenes of the movie again . But even if you haven't seen the movie and you can appreciate a good quality soundtrack this is highly recommended .

The soundtrack to the movie devoted to the powers of music is actually quite good. It has a great range from classical to rock, to a funky "not this world" kind of melodies. I recommend this to anyone who saw the movie and thought it was good.
All the vocal singers are professionals and they have done a fantastic job, especially Johnathan Rhys Meyers.
A beautiful soundtrack that will bewitch you into the world of music again and again!

Watching the movie leaves you wanting more...so having the sound track is the closest thing. If you loved the quirky plot and excellent acting, you'd love the weird, rough-around-the-edges music, which was the amusing background to the story line. I also liked the bits of information given inside the CD cover.

This is well produced bubble gum music for young girls and it is does its job. The harmonies are good, the melodies catchy, and the lyrics-pretty harmless. I have lots of young students who really enjoy this album.

Danny Elfman is the ultimate composer of the Batman theme and after the first two movies, he was gone and all the composers since then are in his shadow - seeking to write themes that suggest his from Batman and Batman Returns. I did not think a lot of the Batman Begins soundtrack as much of it can put one to sleep; the theme was not very complex but was not bad and worked in that movie. The new film and movie happily took the very best of the themes in Batman Begins and expanded and worked off them such that the soundtrack album is worth buying and listening to. The theme fades in and out nicely and worked in the film and works on the album. If the same composers write some more for the next Batman movie we will really have something to enjoy.
