I am so dissapointed in this album. I'm one of those fans who choose not to listen to an album until I have the complete package in my possesion. What a mistake I made by buying this album. I should have just downloaded this one for free, because that is what this album sounds like...free music. It's nothing I was hoping for. There are only two good songs on the whole album, and the "whole" album is way, way, way, too short, and further more way too expensive. Trent Reznor has finnaly lost his mojo. Don't listen to all of these die hard NIN fans...they don't have the huevos to dis on Trent...trust me, this is a poor NIN album.

i was surprized when i bought this cd, this is the first negative review I've ever had to write about a nine inch nails cd.
i have loved all of nine inch nails' instrumentals so i figured it would be awsome.
unfortunetly it wasnt, ghosts is a creative work, but for all intensive purposes, its useless.
i expected a long, flowing, beautiful collection of insturmentals, what ghosts is is 36 compleatly different tracks that flow as smoothly as motor boat on a gravel road.
what the other reviewers said is correct, individualy most of these tracks are unique and enjoyable, but trying to memorize what each different ghost track sounds like and listen to them seporatly is almost not worth the trouble.
right now i ... Read More:

It's interesting that many of the criticism of this album come down to "This band isn't REAL metal" ...for REAL metal search out Pantera/Slayer/Cradle of Filth (insert name of band with screaming male lead). Okay, if what you like is bands with a screaming male lead, you *probably* won't like Evanescence, I'll give you that. Other criticisms? "They aren't *real* goth, for *real* goth check out Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, etc." like it's a competition to be *more gothic* or something (and FYI I love Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil, Nightwish is okay, I like a few songs). Other criticisms include "Evanescence sucks live" when I doubt anyone who hates the band obviously this much would shell out $70 to see them live (I've seen them ... Read More:

Evanescence features a wonderful female singer named Amy Lee. Amy has a very good, deep sounding voice. You won't have the generic female singer that the mainstream is used to. The music in this one has a good amount of variety to it. Sometimes you will hear rock music, electronica, or some weird other sounds. One problem I have with this one though is that Amy Lee sounds the same in most of the sounds. Still, she sounds good, just the same.
The obvious audience for this one is someone who feels weak and wants to rise up. Not in a political way, but in a more emotional way. Soem of the lyrics are based around females more then males, but you can deal with it.
Songs like "Lithium" and "Weight of the world" are my personal favorites. ... Read More:

This is the best single so far. A Cure fan will not be disappointed. The B side is excellent as well. By the way...the Billboard chart this week for Singles (Sales) shows the three Cure singles in the top ten and Sleep When I'm Dead is in #4.

The Cure are a unique band with some very memorable songs. This is interesting because Robert Smith chose the tracks himself, and artists are often the biggest critics of their own work. He has chosen well and if you're a Cure fan, it's a very nostalgic listen. It just goes to show what great songwriters they are.

This album from Opeth is quite amazing in my opinion. They have successfully merged many different genres of music into one beautifully eclectic album. The balance between instruments is done to perfection. I was really shocked how different the songs sound when played in DTS on the bonus disc. If you don't plan on utilizing the 5.1 version of this album, I would suggest getting the regular version opposed to the special edition. The three bonus tracks were nice, but no surprise to me that they were not part of the main release.

This is (somehow I didn't believe it possible) the worst Nine Inch Nails remix album, yes, worse than Fixed. 2 songs worth listening to. Sigh.
Release Date February 27, 2007
This is a great live Nine Inch Nails video. The quality of the Blu-ray is phenominal and it has all of the great NIN songs performed live. Great buy for any NIN fan.
