I loved the movie and the music so I bought this CD. I am extremely happy with my purchase. The music is phenomenal. Marc Anthony does Hector Lavoe some serious props here. Bravo Marc Anthony....the only disappointment here is the last trac, Jennifer Lopez's "Toma de Mi." IT TRULY SUCKS! The song stinks and her vocals sound like someone is strangulating a Sea gull. This should of never been included in this CD....Other than JLo's lousy singing and song, the CD is great. Buy it and when you get to JLo's song, stop the CD....

Marc Anthony is one of my favorite performers anyway, but this album's selections are the best of the best of his songs. It will get you movng to the sensuous Latin rhythm and lip-syncing along with the lyrics.

This CD has been a staple in our family for the past 4 years. I simply never tire of it. It is not "kids' music" but family music!

The instrumentation is beautiful, the artists and songs are earthy, rich and varied, and it does not have that slick, overproduced feel but just a bit raw, and totally real. You can tell that this was a project with heart and soul.

I have just purchased a copy for a friend who has successfully adopted a child from Guatemala (no compilations specific to Guatemala out there!)

I really love this CD I needed to hear the 60s bossa nova music for my ballroom dance routine. It has the classic girl from ipanema as well as a really cool 60s version of Mas Que Nada. It has some really cute intermission segments in between tracks too. Very nice music for dinner party or if you need the original Bossa Nova.

I admit that I haven't been a Marc Anthony fan but am now after listening to this CD........he has an amazing voice and the song selections are well worth listening to........
