I love ya Mariah. But,Its time grow up !! Your 38 not 21 !! Ive been a fan since her first cd.Also a fan club member since 1994. But, enough with 10 differant people trying to produce. Geez, is this a hip hop tribute to Mariah with new songs ? Im still waiting for the day that Mariah will just makes a cd with just her singing. And no guest rappers !! At least we have the good ole days of Mariah. This is the first time i did'nt buy it the day it came out. I finally bought it about a week after. Played it twice. Now its just collecting dust. Maybe someday Mariah will listen to her Real Fans !! And not these Rappers and producers who just stop by and give there 2 cents worth. And just stamp there name as credit on her cd.

I'm bias on this review because I love Van Morrison music to death, I know this cd it's been been getting bad reviews, but I think those critics need to listen to this cd a little more more, I think is great (remember, I'm bias regarding Van's music) but if you like Blues / music with soul and a little inspiration from above, you will like this cd.

- Shows less eclectic diversity in both Cee-Lo's delivery and Dangermouse's production
- The character Cee-Lo created for this project is harder to distinguish from his regular persona shown on his solo albums (though he still never raps on this project)
- Subtle nuances are the focus of the show this time, in Cee-Lo's lyrical implications and voice as well as Danger Mouse's increasingly subtle means of experimentation.
- It begs the question "is this R&B"?
- Their aim this time seems to be to tone down the gimmicks for the purpose of exposing an almost Curtis Mayfield level of imaginative realism (minus the hooks)

This is one of the best albums I have purchased in a long time. She is amazingly talented! I am so sad about her personal life and the road she is on. It can only end in disaster, which would be such a loss to her family and the music world.

For his third studio album, Jason Mraz continues to prove why he has earned such strong support since his debut in 2003. "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things" steers Mraz firmly back into the singer-songerwriter genre, avoiding some of the pop trappings that cropped up on his last album, "Mr. A-Z." This is both good and bad, because while the album lacks a song as powerful and mesmerizing as "O.Lover" or "Plane," it also lacks any real clunkers, something that cannot be said for his previous work ("Forecast" was a massive mistake of a song).
In fact, this is probably Mraz's most consistant studio effort to date. Opener "Make It Mine" is incredibly catchy and a perfect accompaniment to the changing weather, and as the CD continues there isn't one song ... Read More:

I wasn't always an Alicia Keys fan but I am now. Her voice is so smooth and she sings with so much soul. Every song on this album is good enough to top the charts!
With songs for just about any type of listener r&b, pop whatever you like it's here. Uptempo songs (One Step At A Time, Young and In Love), ballads (No Air w/Chris Brown, Next To You), midtempo songs (Shy Boy, Tattoo).
Its good all around with only one track that i didnt care for aside from that. It's an album that should please her AI fans and folks looking for a little something else as well.
Favs:
No Air (Duet w/Chris Brown)
One Step At A Time
Tattoo
Permanent Monday
Just for the Record
Shy Boy
Freeze (nice beat to this one that i love)

I listen to this album practically everyday, I like all the songs on the albums for various reasons. The cd is a plethora of reggae/dancehall hits to soulful R&B love ballads. Usually, especially nowadays, more attention is put into the production of the track rather than the lyrics but careful attention has been paid to both on this album. One can tell that Estelle is singing from the heart about tricky relationship situations, obtaining self-confidence, and how to fight through life's struggles. Each song is infused with a message, even if it's a playful one (i.e. on "American Boy" "..don't like his baggy jeans but I might like what's underneath them") I really dig this album and wish her all the success. I want to go back and buy her first album and see what that "be ... Read More:
