This doesn't strike me as a "Greatest Hits" exactly, but is a good studio collection for a great sale price. All in all, it has a nice mellow quality about it, but if you're looking for something with more "adrenaline", go for the live recordings of the "Nine Tonight" cd.

A thousand reviews? I only can echo the majority. This is simply another masterpiece from the greatest band that ever cut a record. These four were in a class by themselves. The Beatles and then there were all the others. Abbey Road blew everyone away when it came out and still is an experience and not just a set of songs put together for listening to while you run the vacumn cleaner. I always think of some of the assertions that have been made about Shakespeare when I take in the entire catlog of the Beatles. It seems impossible that one small rock combo could come together and create art the way they did the same way that so many people can't imagine one person writing as many classics as Shakespeare did. I'd heard the arguments both for and against "Wicked" (people love it or hate) so thought I'd have a listen. I really enjoyed it. So really great songs (and some fun ones too) as well as great singing. Even as I was listening to it for the first time I wanted to sing along!

This is a great Aerosmith 2 cd hits package,cross licencing from different labels gives us a nice career spanning collection!!! Sure a few hits my be missing,but thre's still lotsa great stuff here to enjoy,and most people own the original Columbia Greatest Hits,and Gems colletions,etc anyway Still with its modest shortcomings I still recommend it!!! Oh Yeah!!! A+

Appart from a couple 4-star cuts, this record is just amazing. It has all The Beatles' singles that went up to #1, in US and UK charts, arranged chronologically.

You may like it more or less, but you can't deny all the songs here defined the whole sound of contemporary pop/rock music, even till today, no matter how hard the critics are.

It may still lack a few other excellent songs from the band deserving to be on a greatest hits collection, but you may still try to get them sepparately by looking for the career albums.

These are just #1s. Not more. No less.
