A thousand reviews? I only can echo the majority. This is simply another masterpiece from the greatest band that ever cut a record. These four were in a class by themselves. The Beatles and then there were all the others. Abbey Road blew everyone away when it came out and still is an experience and not just a set of songs put together for listening to while you run the vacumn cleaner. I always think of some of the assertions that have been made about Shakespeare when I take in the entire catlog of the Beatles. It seems impossible that one small rock combo could come together and create art the way they did the same way that so many people can't imagine one person writing as many classics as Shakespeare did. During the time of the Beatles, it ... Read More:

I love this record, its the most inspired recording of the nineties from beginning to end. Even the lyrics are
really on, at times its like Thom Yorke is my long lost brother the way his mind works and the things that he's thinking about. "Exit Music" is my favorite Radiohead song because of how intense it is. A lot of this record seems to be driven by spite and bitterness but that's all good - better get that energy out in the studio then with a machine gun in a school yard. And the best way to kill someone is to shame them into killing themselves anyway right? Radiohead's smartest move has been to not even attempt to top this record and instead go and make more atmospheric, moody music; this is the peak and would be for anybody.

To all those that don't like this new album, they can suck it up and deal with it. I personally love this album. They decided to do something that, in some ways, was very different. I applaude them for that. I love all the tracks on here and I even bought a copy for my uncle so he could listen to Radiohead. As far as if that was the best album for him to start listening to Radiohead I don't know.Radiohead- In Rainbows (Guitar Tablature)

This is the best album cover ever in rock and roll history as far as I'm concerned, the music inside is just gravy. Nothing could top OK Computer, so Radiohead didn't even try - they very wisely went in a completely different direction into almost another genre altogether. OK Computer is basically a straight up rock record but Kid A is pretty much electronic music. The first song, "Everything in it's Right Place" is one of the best in Radiohead's live set - it sounds much better live is what I'm trying to say - but the studio version is still very captivating, especially with good speakers. "How To Disappear Completely" almost matches the intensity of "Exit Music" from the previous record. I think the peak of the record is "In Limbo", maybe the scariest song I've ever ... Read More:

Do not purchase products from this supplier. I received a copy of the CD, did not come in a CD case or with album information. I received a plain CD with the songs copied onto it, they didn't even enter the title names. I was offered a refund, but I've seen nothing 2 months later.

Nobody really actually enjoys listening to Radiohead. They just pretend to so that they appear to be hip or intelligent. I guess if a bunch of random noise put together to appear "deep" is your thing you should buy this album. If you have any taste stay far away. Thom Yorke is also the AntiChrist.

Stylistically, this new Verve album carries on where "Urban Hymns" left off. Much like "Urban Hymns", the material here is clearly more song-oriented as opposed to the more jam-based, psychedelic phase of the "Storm In Heaven" LP era. I think newer Verve fans who first became aware of the band through songs like "Bittersweet Symphony" and "Lucky Man" (both on the Urban Hymns LP) will find much to be pleased with on this new album.
The first single from the album "Love Is Noise" has an uptempo groove with a catchy repeated "Ooh-Ooh, Ah-Ah" refrain that has a sing-a-long quality to it. "Valium Skies", "Rather Be", "I See Houses" and "Appalachian Springs" are nice string-laden ballads following the same formula of "Lucky Man" or "Space And Time" (both from the "Urban ... Read More:

What do you get when you take an ounce of Grace Jones, two ounces of Lauryn Hill, a pinch of Hooverphonic, a splash of Madonna and a twist of Outkast -- all shaken (not stirred) in a vintage cocktail shaker from, say...1927?
Well, you might get something as utterly intoxicating as singer Janelle Monae.
And perhaps 'cocktail' is the best way to try describing the new music from this way-out-of-the-ordinary R&B, Soul, Funk, Futuristic Rock & Roll singer from an orbit high over greater Kanas City. Her musical mishmash, however, is much more the molotov cocktail type than the cosmopolitan kind.
Monae's EP release, Metropolis: the Chase Suite, explodes from speakers as a fully formed supreme being of arts & leisure. This 'fifth element' of a production is fun, ... Read More:
