Ok, I'll admit it... I'm 28 years old, I have no children, and I LOVE this CD! This is the most refreshing music I've heard in a long time! A friend of mine let me borrow their copy and I was thinking, Miley Cyrus? Seriously? I expected annoying pop kiddie tunes and instead, I find an extremely talented 15-year-old! I love every single song on this CD and cannot stop listening to it! She reminds me of Avril Lavigne - and in a good way! I highly recommend this CD for all ages! :)

It's a pop-hit, that's for sure. But...

"Ur So Gay"? Uhm, NO. Substitute the word "black" or "jewish" and describe your urban or frugal ex-boyfriend and you would be blacklisted in the musical world. I'm tired of "gay" being thrown around as a derogatory phrase. Grow up, already. It's not funny.

"I Kissed a Girl". Nice catchy song. But again, feeding into numerous stereotypes that aren't really cool, and by the way, why don't good girls kiss other girls? Sad attempt at shock-pop.

The rest of the album is good, but not great. Catchy tunes and music, sure, but not very memorable. "Mannequin" amd "Self-Inflicted" stand out the most in my mind as favourite songs. "One of the Boys" would be more enjoyable ... Read More:

I first previewed these guys cd and didnt like what i was hearing, despite not hearing the songs in full. So i was dissapointed, i thought the cd cover looked kinda cool, but that was about it. I called these guys F-a-g-s, i think and didnt pay anymore attention since.

Then i heard a song on the radio, it was called "Play My Music", that song really hit me and actually spoke to me, the lyrics were good and i loved the sound and it ended up being the Jonas Brothers did the song (its from a movie soundtrack called CampRock)

Anyways...that song really impressed me, and made me wanna reconsider the Jonas Brothers and actually take time listening to their music. So i downloaded their self titled album and i ended up likeing quite a few songs ... Read More:

Excellent CD. I am confused why people are fronting on her CD. She has one of the best voices I have heard in a long time!

Every song is great. She can hold her own with any R&B artist out there.

When you see the DVD that comes out in August, you'll want 3D glasses so be sure and be ready or find the ones you had...just a hint, since some panicky girls didn't have them when that show debuted on television recently.

This particular music and DVD featured on Amazon has only a short DVD. However, the girls I know didn't really care. They loved it anyway. The bottom line for this particular reviewer is that I have to keep that in mind when rating this. From a dollar value or deceptive ad viewpoint, the DVD is not a full concert performance. Consider yourself duly informed.

From the perspective of someone watching some girls having fun listening to the music and watching the short DVD, I'd say it was worth every penny. Your results may vary, ... Read More:

What we have here, ladies and gentlemen, is the latest dropping from the gigantic byzantine money-making machine called the music industry. Forget the cute little girl's face on the cover, or that she, in some sense at least, sang the songs. She really has nothing to do with it. Its about seperating you from your money. Its product. This is the same recording industry that robbed every classic blues, soul, and R&B singer, got in trouble for payola, even very recently, and wants to charge you 20 clams for a CD. This is the same recording industry that sues housewives for illegally downloading a song they heard on Gray's Anatomy. And here's their product.
