After so many years without the recognition they deserved, I'm glad the Giants have found their niche (even though it's with the monolithic Disney). My whole family loves this CD/DVD -- and my son has known his ABCs for years. I find myself continuing to listen in the car, even after I've dropped him off at school. I just bought 3 copies from Amazon as gifts, and hope anyone who reads this enjoys Giants' ABCs as much as we do!

What Pearl Jam did, maybe even unwittingly, was to weld the thick sludgey minor-chord sound (and general angst) of grunge to arena size rock choruses and guitar power. In doing so, they managed to quickly outshine their nearest peers (Nirvana) commercially and ultimately become the vanguard for rock through the 90's. Along with Red Hot Chili Peppers and maybe Soundgarden, they shaped the sound of a decade and thrived to see their success sustained creatively.

"Rearviewmirror" reflects (har har) that 12 years between Ten and Binaural in solid fashion, even if does lean heavily on the first three albums. Alright, so you've probably heard a lot about this album and this band but I think this album and the band deserve so much credit. If you haven't really listened to anything off this album yet, I'm going to convince you to. Read on.

This amazing album has two disks: Jupiter and Mars; both fantastic. Its sound is way different than previous RHCP albums but still keeps they're original style and flair. With crazy bass lines from bassist Flea and funky guitar rifts from guitarist John Frusciante, this album is packed with creativity and has something for everyone. Drums are always great too when you got Chad Smith on them; one of the few guys in rock music these days that keeps a smile on his face.

I have heard all the songs on Insomniac and Dookie and loved them.When I got this I was expecting kind of the same music but got totaly different and I like it.They kinda got away from their punk roots but that's fine by me.I love all the songs on here.The only song that I could live without was Rock and Roll Girlfriend segment on Homecoming.My personal favorite song on the album was either Holiday or Saint Jimmy.The lyrics are sometimes hard to understand because of his accent but you can always go on google to see what they are.The guitar,drum,and backup singers all are very talented and do a fantastic job.Recommended to any Green Day fan.

while much can be said about the decline in the music industry this album represents the death of rock music in the ninties. This album compared to the great rock albums of the seventies surely shows the lowering of musical talent through the decades. most of the songs you can't understand and what little you can does not make any sense. there is little artistic value in this cd

I don't get it... over 1200 5 Star reviews? I just don't get it! Would you say their review's were not that of the album itself or, more that of dedicated fan ferver? The only thing that really impressed me on this album was the packaging. Maybe that's what the over 1200 5 Stars were for . . . No?!

This album, "Jagged Little Pill", is the best that Alanis has put out to date. In this CD she is a girly version of Mike Muir a.k.a. Cyco Miko, pissed off and looking for confrontation. Gotta love the "Cross eye'd bear" track; One of her best! Over all a very relaxing listening album, like "Agent Orange", or "Devo".
